Playing this on xbox one x. Bugs were never patched. Ai is still brain dead. I assisinate a guy on sencond floor, throw his dead body on to a crowd of npcs. They show slight distaste and forget all about it after approximately 10 seconds. I saw fish which are miles more intelligent.

easiest fucking controls i've ever seen. Hold RT or R2 to sprint and climb straight, if holding A/X you would sprint and climb upwards and if holding B/O you would sprint and climb downwards, very good controls, too many noobs play these games and complain.

This game is actually amazing (now). Despite it being an absolute mess in release it has been pretty much patched up for the most part and is now amazing!!! Movement is so fluid and smooth and the Paris setting is excellent. The city is similar to that of those in Italy because of the tightly packed houses that you can jump across. Syndicate and even Origins haven't got the same inclusion of parkour.

The game was great, I was lucky enough to get it right after they did most of the major patches, however it was an absolute mess at launch and some people were barely able to get passed certain areas due to these glitches. I also have to disagree, Origins was a phenomenal game that I think really helped revive the series after Syndicate. Odyssey I can't say the same for.

Dashing Gaspar origins revived the series sure.. but it isn’t assassins creed. The constant hate that this game got basically made the devs say “alright, let’s not make assassins creed games. See Unity was programmed terribly and they tried to fix that in Syndicate (Which they did for the most part) but why did have to ruin the parkour in Syndicate. In Unity it looks fucking beautiful but in Syndicate it gets as bland as past AC. It makes me sad

they both were developed by different teams working under ubisoft... Syndicate was in development before the release of unity.. Unity was Ubisoft's most ambitious project ever! but they really rushed that out (for yearly balance sheets obviously) and it fell down on face. :( I totally agree with you, I had never seen such improvements in animation in an AC game before Unity. So far I dont think they are gonna dump those terrific animations, its just, Syndicate was way too ahead in development to really put those beautiful animations in it. But I believe next AC games will definitely have those animations... :)

As a traceur (Parkour practitioner) and AC's enthusiast I guarantee this title has the best and realistic parkour movements in the franchise, period. And it's fun because Parkour was created/named in france, so I think that ubisoft put lot of effort to make justice to the Parkour animations.

I can never get the game to control like this for me. The improved parkour made it look like you could do all of these back wards spins, swing arounds, controlled descents, barrel rolls on landing, etc. Honestly a big part of why I was excited. And while I can make those animations happen occasionally, I can't get it with anywhere near the consistency you do. The animations I get still look clunky trying to connect them one to the other, and half the moves don't appear. Maybe I'm not playing it right, but parkour is my favorite part of any AC game, so I feel like I'd get the hang of it. Still just kind of frustrating when I was expecting this next gen parkour and it still feels like all the other games

+Vinny Souza I hated unity. The parkour was improved (but felt a bit slow) but the combat was atrocious. Slow & cumbersome and definitely did not make you feel like an assassin....

If they make this same Parkour but faster, bring Desmond back to life, bring back that awesome song, make Desmond the main character in both times(or make they back to time(him, and his friends)and add some powers(like: he turn himself into a eagle or something like that)and another awesome things that the franchise had at some point, and add some new stuff! Man that would be great!

I didn't really like the parkour/free running in unity it always felt like when you jumped from one platform to another like it was making you float or fly to it instead of a actual jump

Took me a little while to realize what was meant by 'realistic parkour' but wow this is so fucking artful like using the mechanics in *just* the wrong ways so they work cooler than they were meant to. I feel like you have to have some sort of knowledge of what stealthgamer is deviating from (the ability to survive massive falls, to jump a little higher than human, etc) to appreciate what's going on here. Like 1:05 jumping to the scaffold before hitting the guard when u could just hit the guard... the whole sequence of little hops from 1:14 to 1:27... even just scaling the chimney, 1:33, and then immediately dropping off it is like super lol parkour... could seriously keep going on, so cool to watch someone re-work a game like this thank you for the vid 👍

Definitely need to do a replay of this game! It’s mechanics are fantastic in its own way! I wish origins and odyssey had this sort of style parkour! I think it would be faultless if used in a future game!

Unity had so much potentials: good parkour system, good combat, good graphics, beautiful city, multiplayer....yet it was ruined by halfbaked story, lack of multiplayer contents and poorly optimised.
