It's really good selection. But I missed Liszt's Spanish Fantasy. It's the most epic solo piano piece I've heard (in my opinion). But I became happy to see Rach 3, that ending is amazing

A piece from Scriabin (probably the coda of the 5th sonata) is the most glaring omission from this list. I'd also think for Ravel, Scarbo would make more sense than La Valse. I can think of more ferocious climaxes in later 20th century literature, but I understand if that was a bit out of the scope.

I was about to say "why no Rachmaninoff? :(" but the end made it for me:) There is also the coda & cadenza from Rachs 1st concerto which is super epic or the last 5 min of Alkan's Grande sonata "les quatre Âges": II. 30 Ans. Quasi-Faust. Assez vite et sataniquement (idk if there is a Hamelin version but the one by Alan Weiss is really good) I hope my suggestions may help you for future videos, I enjoy the content :)

Love the video, a bit confused by why you picked that Prok 3 excerpt though - seems like there are lots of more "epic" spots to choose from, like the 16th runs right before the recap of the first movement or the finale of the third movement. You could even extend the excerpt you chose to include the finale of the first movement.
