Scrap the rule where the attacker starts by doing a one-two pass with the defender. It’s a pointless move and it gets abused by some defenders blasting the ball back way too hard. Just start with the ball at the attackers feet then go on the whistle. Simple.

Honestly the game design is bad. In the finals if no one scores, the first player to have been assigned as defender wins. So they're actually tied, but because of poor design a winner is randomly assigned essentially. It could be improved by going to next goal wins if you have a 4-4 tie with no goals -- if only just in the finals. Winning the finals from a tie feels dumb.

This age group is so brutal, you will be competing with guys who have pubed early or clearly in a growth spurt. That being said Harrison kept his mouth shut and played his game, people saying his passes were unfair, is it unfair to play to the rules of the game? He kept his passes on the ground and his opponents were walking outside of the cone area before the pass was even made. Don't blame the kid, his behaviour and composure was great.
