I would think, to prevent such a thing from occurring, they'd install a permanent 'Safety' feature that cannot be turned off. By that of course, I mean the Holograms would be able to still attack and 'hit' you for Direct Attacks, but still be unable to hurt you, even if it was a 'hard light' projection (Which we're right now light-years away from achieving.)

well, there is a Duel Disk for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, although it was only released in Japan, and in ZEXAL, the Duel Disk has been replaced by the Duel Pad, but as far as I know, there isn't a toy of that

These kind of duel disks are just awesome! I have two of them, and i remember how fun it was to play with them outdoors. It's true that they are kind of heavy at the beginning, but once you get used to it, you barely notice, that it's there (if it's even possible not to notice it XD). And there's one thing, that i dislike about it - it doesn't have a Life Points increasing button, so if you have to increase your LP, you have to go through all the numbers. But i still recommend it! :)

P.S. How to Synchro Summon: Control 1 Tuner Monster (look for the word "Tuner" next to its type), and 1 or more other monsters. Take the levels of the Tuner and the non-Tuners (the number of stars under their names), and add them together. Example: Suppose I control a Level 3 Junk Synchron, a Level 2 Speed Warrior and a Level 3 Dash Warrior. I could then Synchro Summon my Level 8 Junk Destroyer (L3+L3+L2=L8). It's complicated.

this is true for two reasons. the first being the sleeves make it easier for you to slide the cards out from the deck slot, the second reason being other wise you will seriously ruin you cards. but the only downside is if you use too many cards, then the cards might get jammed in the dueldisk.

Because in most Duels, you shouldn't need that much graveyard space, so they shrink it down a bit to save space.

Honestly, this is useless in terms of practicality. The only reason it is used in the show is because it projects the holograms. This could be a nice novelty for hard-core Yu-Gi-Oh fans, but it has no practical uses what so ever.

There is no way I'd put my cards in that duel disk. If I did, I might as well chuck my cards in the bin because it ruins the edges of the cards. Besides that, if you don't mind much of getting your cards damaged then, this is an alright toy to jam with but I honestly prefer the duel mat over this duel disk in my opinion.

You could in the early game, Decks where made of 60-80 cards and ou could have up to 30 cards on your Fusion Deck, but now you can have only 40-60 cards in your main deck and 15 in your Extra Deck.

yes it is better for your cards to be sleeved and the spaces are big enough to hold those sleeved cards, unlike the original duel disk
