What I like about your reviews is that you do stuff that no one on KZbin bothers with. I like seeing reviews of weapons like this, the Storm Striker, Thunder Staff, etc. And that's only this series. Seriously, nice work. Keep it up. :D

The Japanese one utilizes all the buttons, which all do unique sounds, thus making a much wider variety of sound combinations.

I got this toy for Christmas the year it came out, this thing has taken a beating over the years but almost 16 years on it's still in great shape. Credit to Bandai for making a great toy, a lot of fun and it looks awesome on display too. I dislike the cheap orange/'gold' paint they use on the hilt of the sword but everything else looks really nice with the proper gold finish.

Thanks for the review! I saw a past commenter said don't review old toys. I just bought this on ebay for my 4 yo son and I couldn't figure out how to retract the handle back into the gun. Thank goodness for your thorough review. I'm a female who grew up on Marvel Comics and I couldn't figure it out LOL! Guess I'm getting old.

The 4 indents on the handle are usually because you aren't supposed to keep your trigger finger on the actual trigger. It gives you a place to rest your figure when you aren't shooting. That's why sometimes you see people holding guns with the trigger finger extended as there is no place else to rest it.

Maybe the fourth i finger indent on the handle is for if Bandai thought of the posability of someone that has a hand with a 6th finger. Don't know why they would think that, but it just a thought.
