Love your playing and your tones Thomas. Its really impressive how close Amp1 sounds to the expensive Marshall amp, not to mention no on going maintenance and re-tubing costs. Its an exciting time.

Thank you so much for the compliments... I wish I had more time to play these days, but my amp designs are my focus currently... I know that my technology is as good as the real deal, that’s why I work so much on my amp designs, as I believe it’s the future. Great tone without compromising meets modern features... Someone needs to do that right...;-)

Thomas you talk about Plexi tones, I believe you are actually talking about '70 Marshall metal face tones, these are more aggressive, more gain and louder than '60 plexi Marshalls. How is your Amp1 like in trying to sound like a JTM 45/100, JMP 100's with Drake and Dagnal transformers with a 4x12 cab with pre-rola Celestions ?

Very similar. ! I have real Plexis too : that black flag 100 watts and a 50 watts … I don’t have a Jtm 45/100 though, such a great amp!!! I know it ! To get close to these amps, you need to use Lo gain mode on AMP1 ….

@thonas . I have now have the Bogner La grange (preamp) pedal and wanted to know your opinions on whether I should use it for the clean or the vintage channel ?

You can do both! In front of the clean you get a bit more punch as the clean Channel on the AMP1 will not compress and overdrive as much as the vintage. This can give you great Classic rock Tones. In combination with the vintage channel you should be careful about too much gain on the pedal and the amp, but if right this can give you a fat lead Tone… something like „vintage hi-gain“… you can taime the gain of the AMP1 with the lo gain mode: look for expert features on www.BluGuitar.com

I think Angus tec has his amps bias.high..so they Run hot...ok if you own 50 heads better off with a pedal. For us .Great demo..
