So beautiful, Jay. Good to see you're healed up and enjoying it out there. Thank you for these adventures you share. That's a must do trail. My favorite-ROCK scrambles! Bonus with rungs. Looks incredibly fun. Can't wait for the sequel.

Jay, Arcadia National Park is truly a sacred place. I like how you didn't talk over the video. The video speaks for itself. I remember the hiking wasn't long in miles, but it was very steep. Enjoy!

Jay, Great to see you out and about again. We followed you and about 8 other hikers on the AT over the last year and it’s nice to see what y’all are doing post AT. Be well and thanks for the update from Maine. Bill B., Oakton, Va.

So glad you enjoyed Acadia. Not too far from where I grew up as a child before going into the Air Force. West Quoddy Head Lighthouse is the eastern tip of the US as you mentioned in a previous video and is near the world's largest tides near my hometown of Eastport. So many people are there because it's foliage season when so many tourists come to see the colors. Thanks for taking us along such a beautiful day in eastern Maine my friend. Looking forward to the next two indeed.

Awesome video. Very popular in Fall and the peak Fall Foliage week or two is very crowded. 50+ million from the Boston to DC corridor know of Acadia.

Plan out some hikes before going. There is a huge network of trails all over so you can piece together a nice hike of any distance you may like. The climbs are short too so they're more fun than work.

What an amazing day you were able to capture! I really like the walk-byes you captured. You have really figured out that camera. I notice the zoom change you must have done while editing and that really is a bonus to the video walk-by. How did you do that?

I've spent a lot of time in Maine, but never been to Acadia NP. Your video may keep me away in the future, it looks like crowds would probably made it hard to enjoy. At least for me!
@JayWandersOut Жыл бұрын
Yep, it's pretty busy. The hardest part is finding parking at the trailhead lots. You have to get there really early otherwise it fills up and spills into the streets. Otherwise though the park is beautiful with a lot of beautiful hikes and the popular ones are crowded so you can hike the less popular ones.

No surprise that there were lots of people using the park. Autumn is a great season for hiking on the east coast…slightly cooler temperatures and fewer problems with crowds. Thanks for taking us along.

This park is my 'regular' hiking destination. I'm an annual pass holder and 4-season visitor. If you want more of a challenge I have some recommendations. This is loop is only technical at the bee hive ascent, and otherwise pretty tame. You are lucky that your ascent of bee hive wasn't like waiting in line to summit Everest, because it can be like that most of the summer season.

Considering what a pro level your filming is at, shouldn't you be able to use your footage to make small commercial videos and sell to the parks to use at their websites to advertise their trails and parks? Do some informative voice-overs with information about the parks and their history. Or, make a tv show with them - 'Come hiking with Jay' - short 10-15 min clips featuring different parks.
