I didn't realize that full-timing came with boat privileges! Sounds like I better start making the transition! I love Acadia. I have been to the Schoodic Point before - never to do the beehive, which I believe is the best known hike there.

We just drove up from Michigan last week with my wife and two daughters and felt it was definitely worth it. We did this exact hike after watching this video a few weeks ago and it was perfect for our 8 year old. Bar Harbor is a busy place and a little pricey but they have great food and we had a lot of fun. The views everywhere around there are top tier.
