Acanthoscurria antillensis in the wild ( Martinique ) - 4k

Acanthoscurria antillensis is a large fossorial Theraphosid which can be found on multiple islands within the caribbean sea. This video leaves me wondering how do you have acanthoscurria species on Martinique and all the way down in Brazil? How they name each subspecies eludes me to a degree.

That's really cool to see they're so obligate - i'm raising some juveniles at the moment and they burrow deep so never see them. Lots of silk round the entrance is quite strange to me for these. p.s. Please now film the St. Lucia ones, I'm sorry to say i think those are much prettier than these french girls, but yours are a lovely shade of brown!
