Journey with us as we head out to Los Lunas, New Mexico to check out a mysterious stone inscription. This stone inscription was discovered over 100 years ago and is estimated to be between 500 to 2,000 years old, predating it to before the discovery of American by Christopher Columbus. Then we continue hiking and make yet another discovery. You don't want to miss this!

As much as I liked Dr. Hibben--he was my anthropology professor--he was busted in the late 1970's as a fraud who had a grad student plant "artifacts" in a cave in the Sandia Mountains. While he didn't "discover" the artifacts--he let two visiting anthropologists find it in the cave Hibben claimed to "believe" that the "Sandia Man" might have lived. The grad student exposed the ruse many years later, causing Hibben, then Director of UNM's Anthropology Department to be fired. If Hibben was involved with this "discovery" I'd be leery of reading too much "history" into it...

Looks like an Archaic LDS plant to me..also There are remains of an 11th century Welsh Knight named Rough Hurock entered in the Mustang Mountains near Sierra Vista , Az. And the cliff dwellings near Silver City NM are built in the same style as homes from around the Time of Knight Hurock in Whales that's in use to this day..Also the inscription on the cave says " Here lies Welsh Knight Rough Hurock FOR POWER AND GLORY!"

You know, I visited this stone, back in 93. When it was on Huning Ranch property. This isn’t the original. Back then, it was wasn’t just a small stone piece, the inscription was much bigger, on a more permanent piece of that mountain. It was about 16 ft tall and when viewing it, one couldn’t touch the top from the ground. I encourage you or anyone interested in this area to find a book written by a man named David Deal. He wrote the book with the express permission of the Huning Family. His book, he claimed the mountain was a stronghold with outlooks at all four corners. The writing was defined as “Paleo Hebrew” a right to left style of writing. In his book he reached a very clear definition of the stone. The one there is NOT what was there in 93. It’s clear to me after a revisit in 2008 that the original was destroyed by some type of removal attempt. The name of David Deal book is “Mystery Rock” That book shows the original and was a copy of the Ten Commandments.

There are numerous other sites throughout North America that have this same paleo Hebrew / Phoenician script. Hopewell sites have unearthed some interesting history. Pre-Cherokee mounds in Tennessee have also unearthed the script. There is clear evidence that the Hopewell people were a massive people that inhabited much of the Eastern current day United States. They had huge cities and clearly traded with people from afar. There is far more sophistication and history in this land than the "Experts" want to admit.

Columbus did not discover America. He was the first person to reach what is now called the Caribbean, after the names of the indigenous population. Leif Eriksson pre-dated him by almost four hundred years and there was a Viking settlement in Newfoundland by 1000AD - look up L' Anse aux Meadows.

One of the primary rules of historic preservation is that vandalism, unrepaired, promotes continued vandalism. If you do not remove graffiti it will attract more graffiti. What you have right there is some 10,000-20,000 year old graffiti enhanced by some nearby 19th and 20th century graffiti.

There were 12 witnesses to the gold plates, and three of the gold plates and angel Maroni. Not only that but the first ever Revelation 12 sign occurred on September 22 1827 when the angel Maroni gave Joseph Smith the gold plates. Also Rosh Hashanah occured at that time that year. It is logically impossible to deny the combination of all of those things prove the Book of Mormon is true. Ask AI. Ask the smartest mathmaticians in the world. All of things could not have happened by chance at the same time, and could only be controlled by God. That is how they prove the Book of Mormon is true

Well according to some records is that it has been chalked over and cleaned several times, so it's hard to get a reading on how old it is. But that it was discovered over 100 years ago and believed to be 500 to 2,000 years old. But we will probably never know since it had been tampered with several times before any official dating could be done. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do you have searchable and validated "evidence" that it wasn't discovered in the 1880 and is less than 100 years old?... not sure if you know how to interpret dates or do math... but depending on when in the 1880's it was discovered, that's at least 135-144 years old... NOT "the last 100" years... and even though I'm not "religious", I wouldn't call the Ten Commandments "Graffiti"... guess that shows your biased liberal argument... LOL... 😉

Went there with my 17 year old son in 2007 just the day after the first line was chiseled off the boulder.. there was lava rock all around the base of the "mountain" and in many areas of that region. At the top of the climb was a "u" shape stack of hand and foot sized flat rock looking like a Hebrew Alter for a burning wood sacrifice. Laying on the top of the side of the alter facing the path used to climb to the top was a pare of wire rimmed glasses. My guess was they belonged to the villain that chiseled on the rock at the bottom. As we circumnavigated the outer edge of the volcano's top it was clearly evident there was only ONE way up and that same way down. But, it was also evident by the size of the rock all around the rim and down there were crevices where someone could easily hide. The top was not flat and was like a beautiful green pasture. We could just barely make out the parking area where our vehicle was. To look down from the top was an incredable sight. We also looked at the slabs of rock on top where people over the years had carved their names and dates, which is illegal today. From the base where you begin the climb you could tell it was an ancient volcano with no top and the way up was the fissure where the lava flowed down. It was an incredable experience and I highly recommend it. Go to the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque to get permit at DNR Office.

There are several high points around this area at Los Lunas, Tom'e, Isleta, maybe others. All of which are visible to each other and offer long range views of the surrounding area. I have often wondered if they were utilized as lookouts and early warning stations for settelments in the valley. The river would have allowed for large scale farming back then, as it does today. The river would have been probably no more than 5 - 10 miles from any of these points.

I came across something similar in a neighboring state. One theory surfaced that these were actually done by and somewhat the job of Mormon scouts prior to moving to settle an area. I've read of other occurrences. At some, the same characters are used but not in forming a word... just some here, some there. At others, they were assembled like we'd expect, in a row, forming a word, but the word was nonsense unless it was intended that way. Who knows... Unfortunately, in some cases those more contemporary inscriptions were done over the top of much, much older works, their potential significance now completely lost. Much like the library of Alexandria... it's how it goes throughout human existence.

please don't use Columbus as a point of reference. He did not find, touch or visit America. He found Hispaniola. Thats it.

Possibly. There apparently are some mistakes on this stone from the research we have done.

My thoughts..., hoax and top of the mountain click bait. Petroglypgh are everywhere in that part of the southwest and the decalog stone, definitely a hoax - not 500 yrs old. Nice try but try to do better next time. I only have so much patience.

It possibly is and that's why we provided some links in the description for people to look at and research. We wanted to provide more information in our video but it would have been too long and boring to our viewers, and we don't want that. That is why we are looking to set up a Patreon page, for those who want more content, information, bloopers, etc.

Paleo Hebrew , the Bible speaks of the Diaspora, the Northern Kingdom being dispersed all over the world. That is what this is. Two kingdoms, Southern, Judah, and northern, Israel, whereas Judah stayed in the Middle East and Israel was dispersed to other continents. The Ten Lost Tribes of Israel did this. When Jesus was asked by His disciples why He came He said "For the Ten Lost Tribes." , the dispersed of His people. They were here, still are. Talk about identity crisis, they have melded into other people groups and do not know they are Israel. Hence so many doing their DNA finding Jewish ancestry, hmmm. !

and you're "angry" point is?... and it was the Spanish (not Columbus or the Dutch, English, or French) that were invading, enslaving, raping and murdering natives and spreading diseases long before the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth...

Well the Hebrew text is interesting, there were probably Jews in the U.S. back in the 1700's... so the question would be how educated and accurate was the person who dated the lichen... and at that time, how did they know how to date lichen? It would have been nice to have had a second opinion before the Lichen was removed... as far as the glyphs on top, if they weren't made by the same "Jewish" prankster, they would be expected in those areas done by natives and appear to be rather crude so could have been done by native children... NOW, if you had found a BURNING BUSH that spoke to you... that would be working of a new Religion... 😁

I state again. IT IS NOT HEBREW. There are a couple of letters that resemble ancient Hebrew, some letters that are Phonecian, some letters that are shaped like Attic Greek. There is no scribe, alive or dead, that would form those letters in such a haphazard fashion. A real Jew, would not make letters in those shapes. Think about it. When a Torah is written, it is perfect. The ink, the size of the quill, the size and shape of the letters, the spacing of each letter and word, everything in a Torah is perfect. That is not perfect There is very little consistency among the letters and the spacing of the letters and the words. To me, it is a hoax and not a very good one at that. We Christians are blessed with thousands upon thousands of Bibles that we encounter on a daily and weekly basis. I doubt many Christian households have fewer than a dozen Bibles and dozens upon dozens of Christian magazines, books and DVD;s, Yes, I am saying that The Word of the Lord is very common in our life. Not so for Jews. The Torah is The Word of God. It is not trivial, it is not casual, it is holy and sacred.
