Barbra’s voice is one of the natural wonders of the world. A miracle.

No one sings better than Streisand. She's a galaxy among stars. Today's so-called divas are prefab, auto-tuned T&A, never to reach the heights quite as high as Barbra.

This is what you call .......art It's timeless......it will always capture an audience, .....not just the present, but the past, and the future. It grabs you so tightly that you can"t stop watching. It strikes an emotion deep inside you. And no one can duplicate it. This woman is ... in every meaning of the word......an artist of the highest degree.

@@gacj2010 Mind...blown. Yes they are, indeed. And hers sound like a violin (especially in these early years. Her more mature instrument is another instrument altogether and equally as lovely.) Thank you for the light bulb that just went off, gacj2010!

These are very handy videos for song rehearsals. Singing is heard much better without music. Thank you! Don't stop and keep making the video! Love and happiness to everyone 👾

These acapella recordings are astonishing. Perhaps there might be one someday from her holiday album. Her singing of "Silent Night" is as pure and beautiful as anything she ever sang. Acapella would be almost unbearably special. Just an idea. Thanks.

For those who fancy coloring books As certain people do Here's a new one for you A most unusual coloring book The kind you never see Crayons ready? Very well Begin to color me These are the eyes that watched him As he walked away Color them gray This is the heart that thought He would always be true Color it blue These are the arms that held him And touched him Then lost him, somehow Color them empty, now These are the beads I wore Until she came between Color them green This is the room I sleep in Walk in and weep in, hiding That nobody sees Color it lonely, please This is the man The one I depended upon Color him gone

Weird that she downgraded her voice and always insisted she was “an actress who sings “ when most vocalists would sell their soul to have this gift.

Is the music deleted? Or was it recorded accapella?

I believe that she heard the music, but she and the music were recorded separately. (She was most likley in a recording booth.) I have heard her voice with the music.

sounds like the music was edited out though, if you listen closely you can still hear it sometimes. so it was "deleted" from the original track

Unfortunately, KZbin compresses audio to save on bandwidth and thus degrades it. But there is a CD featuring Barbra Streisand from 1962 when she was just starting out, called "BARBRA STREISAND IN THE BEGINNING." There are 25 tracks, 21 of which have never been released until this CD; the other 4 are very rare. This takes you back to the 1962 night club scene in New York when Barbra performed live (recorded in stereo) at the Bon Soir Club. It is electrifying. Her voice was spectacular. There are also studio demos (with chatter) when she tried to get a contract with RCA. This is really a "golden oldie," but be aware. Somebody is selling this on Amazon for $73.99 including shipping but that's a ripoff. The label itself has it for $15.95. Here is that link: @t
