Because the system is broken - it can take years for people to get state disability and even then many get denied for no reason. And to get disability insurance you normally have to be employed when you purchase it, at least that's my understanding.

Takoda has been through alot but I wish it would make you stronger but it's one step at a time and first step is to get help with depression, drugs, etc... Lot of these men and women are very nice looking and could be so much more and I'm glad he's getting tired of it. Takoda first needs help with the severe trauma he has experienced. A long-term addiction and mental health program may help. The addiction is a side effect of his severe trauma. If there is a gofundme to help with a long-term program that can also assist him him in getting disability please post.

I am so very sorry to hear about all the trauma that Takoda has been through. I would love to see him get with professionals. I am an addict in recovery. It was not until I had a serious talk with myself and reached out for real help that I was able to get clean. I tried so many times on my own. Before treatment, I did stop the drugs but I would always relapse. Like many, I was addicted to opiates because I was placed on pain meds by my doctors. This led to 20-something years of active addiction. I would love to see Takoda go to detox, treatment, and get with profs to help him learn to deal with the trauma. It helps a lot. God Bless. 💕 I know he said that he tried this route before. I do not know the exact statistics but I do know that a lot of people out there have to try treatment a number of times before it finally clicks and no relapse. You can do this kiddo!
