New Zealand's economy is focused on Auckland, we cannot expect investors to subsidize big megaprojects in other cities, that's how it works. And that's not bad, I would never live in Auckland, but it's an attractive city and if it can become more, that's very good.... I still find that we are on a good path, more and more companies are deploying their head offices in other cities, which should in a few years boost a less centralized economy in nz.

the Auckland light rail project would have been perfect for this city but it was wiped off the list because taking a train or a bus really sucks anyone can get to a destination faster on a light rail than from a bus or train just go to Melbourne Australia and find out for yourself and I say this to everyone no matter who it is
