I believe as PI in obesity management strategies requiring administrative duties beside detailed discussion of those plans on molecular level at many societies with hypothetical therapeutic benefits yet long term followup to observe those benefits will definitely as cardiologist making you consumed with the process of over 500 trials with intension to treat! As reminder, a bocket map with advancements of those strategies is recommended in big conference meetings with referrals to particular guidelines. Advise the keto or low carb diet

I can lose 40 lbs easy on low carb. But I would still need to lose 100 lbs more after that. Maybe these new meds can help with that.

Why don't you mention intermittent fasting? Stop snacking, eat in an 8 hour window, eat unprocessed foods. Also, stop considering obesity as a cause, it is a consequence of insulin resistance.
