How you've managed to get good with these settings is crazy, for me the car was uncontrollable. Thanks for trying to help though, appreciate it.

Just started ACC and use a controller so your vid is useful after all this time. Do have a wheel and pedals in my future. I figure that what a I do learn about these cars with the controller, will transfer over somewhat once I have the proper gear. Thanks

to get your best controller settings you need first to disable steering assist I recommend 70% speed sensitivity steering speed 20-30 steering filter 20-30 Gamma personally 4 currently then enable steering assist on if you want! so the assist will do less because you mostly now steering more correctly! currently, I am trying without steering assist and it's very hard but is more fun for me
@Rusko1813 жыл бұрын
Speed sensitivity is like mouse acceleration, it exists but no-one uses it. It's bad for your muscle memory since it can't get used to a certain value of stickmovement compared to what the car does in return. And I would really recommend to play around with the gamma, it helped me a lot I have it on 3.2 I believe.

most of it will be personal preference too, also depends on your controller with the gamme, especially if you have stick drift. but i also learnt to roll my stick smoothly like a wheel when trail braking into a corner. i no longer straight brake then full lock turn in. i get the slip angle just right so im almost matching wheel users. just not as precise of course. and then i roll my stick on exit too. and i did this on the standard xbox controller too. but i then bought the Elite 2 controller and can stiffen the sticks to make smooth steering on entry and exit easier

I totally agree with the settinhs and it does take a bit to get use to steer sensitivity that low. i have pretty much worked my way down in steps to 10 on steer sensitivity started 50 then 35 then 20 ... i went from fairly average driver on controller (silver/bronze times) to consistently gold and pushing platinum times You can over turn the car - hear the tires scrubbing and you just back off the input a bit and then you are good

You seem to be an experienced player. But steer filter i have read this... you have any thoughts... Steer Filter: This refers to how quickly the car can be turned from lock to lock in relation to controller inputs. This value ranges from 0-100% in Assetto Corsa Competizione, with lower values meaning the steering responds instantly and higher values meaning the car will steer slower.

Great video. Question would you change anything for the wet? Also in the ferrari whats the tc2 all about gets me confused
@lmr-lemansrennsport94623 жыл бұрын
Same for the wet, nothing changes. And tc2 for the 991.II, 488 models and the Honda evo is just a secondary traction slip. Just an added part of the system to help cut any slip when the car doesn’t have grip on power

Can you do these settings through content manager and just on normal assetto corsa?
@lmr-lemansrennsport94622 жыл бұрын
AC doesn't support steering assist feature so I wouldn't recommend it, the game is possible on controller but doesnt fully support it as much as ACC
@dukkk49443 жыл бұрын
Hello! so i play the normal assetto corsa (not competizione) and i cant seem to find steer assist, which in my mind is what is making me play badly the game, cuz i was always used to forza, and when i went playing ac it turns out my wheels always screech and i find myself always having to adjust very slowly with the stick, and at the end i can get like to gold sometimes but really really hard and unconfortable, i checked everywhere on the game and at forums, and it seems there are no steer assist in the game, so my only option is to actually buy and play competizione ? thank you in advance, appreciate your content!
@lmr-lemansrennsport94623 жыл бұрын
Yes, unfortunately steer assist/wheel lock assist was not a feature when AC was made. So it does mean you have to be very precise with your stick to drive somewhat decent but still majorly lack behind wheel times. For pure GT racing I would buy ACC anyway as it is a top game and fun to play in all aspects
@dukkk49443 жыл бұрын
@@lmr-lemansrennsport9462 Thats alright, it is good to know that at least im learning the hard way i guess, u got any other game options besides ACC? even tho i would love to play it, there are sometimes which i would like to play other type of cars and not only GT cars, just curious if u play something else. Thank you for your answer and your time sir!

@@dukkk4944 one of our members critical still plays on Forza 7, but we mainly play ACC. its our go to game. maybe in the future we will play other games if they catch our interest and we will put content out for those games
