How to change LED tail light bulbs and remove tail lights on a Nissan 370z.

This is a how to on getting out your tail lights and accessing the light bulbs! You can do this for just taking them out in general too.

I didn't do anything, one of the fellow Z owners did it, he just wires them directly to the brakes, nothing crazy.

I don't think that company still sells them, I found them on the 370z forum. I sold that car to buy my GTR 2 years ago so I haven't been active since.

Hey Acc0rd79, I was wondering if you experienced the CSC slave cylinder failure in your car? I am very interested in getting a 370z here soon but am afraid of that failure and having to spend 700+ to replace this right off the bat.

+Kevin no i havent, only problem i was worried about was the steering lock because I had the 09 but it was a free warranty exchange but it never had another issue after that. It never broke but i was worried about it maybe happening so I just did it in case.

+Acc0rd79 ya the steering lock can be bypassed easily with a snip of a wire. I just don't want to be pulling the tranny out anytime soon to replace the CSC. car looks very clean. one owner 25k miles the dealer here wants 21.5 for it. also has the sport package.

Great LED reverse light conversion. Great walk-thru! Oh, I'm pretty sure the reverse lights will work if you turn the key to on and pop it into Reverse. Ha

amen right?! yah my Hondas I can just pop the hood or trunk and take the cover panel off with at twist to access the bulb! Even I had to look it up to make sure was right! haha

+Rockawaylifestyle this is a EVO R light on the bottom, the original is just a cover, not real so you take it out and swap it for this which has LED's in it and connects to your brake lights.

check out my install headlights video. you have to jack up the car, turn the wheel or take it off and pull back the wheel well plastic.

+Acc0rd79 Will it be easy to get to the blinker light from there as well? my blinker light actually fell out of the socket. no idea how that happened but now whenever I turn my right turn signal on it does the fast blinking shit. if that's all I have to do to also get to the blinker light thanks for the info and video. btw do you know if they sell different color side marker lights? (neon green) I don't like my original one.

drew tacticaltrainee I have never accessed it but I am guessing you should easily be able to if you pull back that side of the inner fender. You can buy whatever color LED's you want off of Ebay.
