I have doubt , can I ask. ? I want to know what is the difference between market value (fair value) and revaluation surplus , these both are in consolidation chapter and I m literally too confused , plz explain the difference

Market Value is the Fair Value of the asset. Revaluation surplus is the name of the account where you show any upward revaluations belonging to the asset.
