I was completely torn between the 23’ Escalade V and the 23’ Yukon Denali Ultimate. However, after watching the video I felt that the Yukon Denali would be the better purchase realistically. Thank you for a well in depth and real world review!

@@SouthernGent44 I decided based on gas mileage as far as my daily commute to work and school, as well as taking road trips with my family that we normally do in the summer. Though my heart wants the Escalade V so badly, I think for my term of use the Yukon Denali Ultimate was better suited.

I did consider the other Escalade models, however since I have neighbors who so happens to have new Escalades, I didn’t want to seem like a “copy cat” 😂😂 Trust me if I had the money the Escalade V would be my preference. Overall, I felt realistically the Yukon Denali Ultimate would be better suited for my growing family overall.

We've got one on these on order since the Escalades are having $10k-$30k addendums added to the MSRP that is already nearly $30k more than this vehicle at most dealers here in the states. We also must be one of the "nobody's" because we opted for the 3.0 liter turbo diesel because 700+ miles of range per tank sounds like a dream as a highway cruiser/people hauler. Hello, I watched your first review on the 21 Denali and it helped me make a choice to purchase one.I,m 65 and I LOVE the chrome on my Denali if you don't like the chrome get a cheaper model. My son is a engineer at G.M. and he tells me that they do a lot of research on WHO their market is, now your much younger (somewhat better looking) are not their market, so your dislike of the chrome is of little value to them they gave you VADER CHROME on a premium model they are willing to flex a little in fact I like it .... oooh before I go, to help your channel how about getting into the engineering in a vehicle , like the air bags, the emergency braking, etc, post videos, let people see more than "do you like chrome" keep up the good work!

I would agree, but I would add that the Escalade has dual coil dampers, which makes the escalade ride a little more stable and refined. Also the transmission tuning is different, set up for faster, more smoother shifts. Also unlike the Chevy Tahoe/Suburban/Denali Ultimate, the Escalade has software noise cancellation and voice enhancement, 36 speaker AKG system, night vision with AI detection overlay, a 38 inch OLED screen with the pixel density of 8k, augmented reality with direction overlay. I can keep going with the differences so as you can see very different.

I've been struggling between the Ultimate and the Cadillac Sport Plat; however, the Cadillac is impossible to find due to supply chain or dealerships are marking it up $20-40k over asking. The Denali is averaging $10-20k over asking. My thought process is to get the Denali now, then wait for supply chain to resolve and trade-in 2-3 years later for the Cadillac.

Super Cruise is also a new feature for the Ultimate this year (in the US, not sure about Canada). That featured was reserved for the Escalade before. I’ve got one on order for all the reasons you said, more subtle than the Escalade, the interior is great and your not as concerned about treating it like a truck. Love the quality of your videos and congrats on the success. It’s only going to get bigger, no doubt.

Beautiful vehicle, and as always, you've done a great review. Thumbs up! A few comments, and a question I hope you can answer: I wish I could get this Ultimate with the Night Vision of the Escalate, great at seeing the engine and exhaust heat of vehicles in front of you during heavy fog or snowstorms, even better than fog lights in some situations, and with the same 20" wheels and tires of the Yukon AT4, instead of the 22"ers. I'd prefer all black leather inside as well instead of the brown, though this umber is great as far as browns go, but of these wishes, the 20" AT4 wheels as an option top my wish list, so much better on the rougher roads of mountainy ski country summer and winter. As for my question: Do you know, do these seats in the Ultimate have more padding and thicker bolstering than the regular Yukons? It is my understanding the leather of the Ultimate is a higher quality, but I wonder about the padding, will it be more comfortable for long distance road trips than the regular Yukons. Thanks for any info you can provide regarding the leather seats, as well as for yet another solid review. Oh, and one other thing, I love the darker Vader chrome on the front and lower sides of this new Ultimate, but were I to get the black exterior especially, I'd still likely do an after market blacked chrome delete job on the shiny chrome still on top and around the side windows. Just don't like the black versus shiny chrome contrast, the darker Vader chrome where used eliminates that issue for me, and frankly makes the thing look so hot!

Come on what question is that of course the Escalade looks better in and out, but it also cost $25k-$50k more. The 2022-23 Escalade is offering many luxury features on the higher models you probably didn’t know about. The Escalade has smart adaptive air ride control, 6 piston Brembo brakes, magnetic ride control with electric dual coil dampers which work better than all its competitors. The nose does not dive when braking like the GLS AMG 63, BMW X7 and Range Rover. The Escalade offers super cruise the best autonomous system out right now even better than Teslas version, with automatic lane change, motorized active and auto-aiming projection LED headlights, self parking, lane keep assist, pedestrian alert system, automatic power folding, power tilting and heated mirrors, power panoramic sun roof, everything is rapped in leather and Alcantara in Headliner including the entire center console is rapped in leather on the Sports Platinum trim, the first one to use 8k OLED screens. Ok so I’m looking into buying a 2024 ultimate Denali and Yukon however o have a 2020 Denali . Here is my frustration that this video does not show . I find it extremely dumb that a driver can push literally any button on the Digital Touch screen even GPS but the second you key a address while driving in the GPS, it says don’t type while driving use voice . So if I’m driving my passenger can’t even type in the gps. Many people say just use google maps on your phone but I zoom call a lot at work . I just want a gps I can utilize while driving
