unfortunatly Elon musk will put a stop for all these supercars when he will sell a roadster with the same specs but a more rounded car for way less money. :) Dont think it will be eazy to compete. But then again rich people dont mind buying exclusive stuff for the sake of it :)

@Wache34 жыл бұрын
Your comment just shows how ignorant you are, and how limited thinking you have. Musk won't stop supercars/hypercars industry. There will always be rich people in the world that will want to have exclusive and unique cars, just as there are now. Do you really think that Musk will stop production of Bugatti or ferrari? Like, owners of bugatti care what Musk is making? You are missing the big picture.
@oliverbuchwald84575 жыл бұрын
It is easy to celebrate a e-super sports car out of the perspective of a niche product. All experts know, it is much more difficult to produce vehicle in a higher volume, because of the given law regulations all over the world. "Exotic OEM's get a bonus there. And this is why a small Croatian company could produce this car, and not in volume. There is much more need as only good marketing. Help to protect earth in the sense to find solutions for everybody. This car as all other BEV's will destroy the nature in Chile, because of needs of Lithium for the batteries, but between Croatia and Chile there are lot of miles.....

And then, due to a bug in the software, it autonomously runs over 100 people before someone catches on. I am not convinced of the safety and the value yet.
@Muskar26 жыл бұрын
Autonomous vehicles would never be approved if they weren't proven to be radically safer than humans are today - especially since most people react very skeptically like you. I've read hundreds of accounts of people who demand that autonomous vehicles need to be proven to never ever injure anyone, which is obviously impossible. What they don't realize is that humans are horrible, and they just have to be proven to be sufficiently better than horrible, thanks to science and statistics. But more than just trusting numbers, I bet there'll be a few decades of cars that display its live vision and reasoning, in order to aspire more confidence in people.
@morosis826 жыл бұрын
That already happens with human drivers, but at a far higher rate. What's your point?
@ThomazMartinez6 жыл бұрын
Your wrong, the one thing electric cards wont have is sound
@Muskar26 жыл бұрын
Electric motors do have a sound, but it's typically removed because it's high-pitched (it isn't in Concept_One though). You're right that it's a lot less loud, especially for performance vehicles. But nothing stops you from adding artificial sounds. I don't see the point in adding sound though, as future generations will regard piston engines similar to how we regard steam engines today, and regard manual driving to how we do horse racing. And I don't think there'll be much more than a niche inbetween who'd like artificial sounds similar to ICE sounds.
@Exoryyy6 жыл бұрын

@Muskar26 жыл бұрын
He has stated several times that they don't ever intend to produce directly to mass-market vehicles - but they will indirectly, through providing technology for other mass-manufacturers. It's extremely hard to survive the car industry, and the mass-market industry is even harder. Mate Rimac has a passion for performance vehicles and new technology, and that means he isn't likely to go there.

Clowns? You don’t know anything about manufacturing and how difficult this industry is. The reason it’s expensive is because no auto manufacturer does pay-per-part. You need to lay out over 500,000 USD before you even get a part, such as a windshield wiper. You say clown? You don’t know the sacrifices needed to be successful in certain markets.

Discussions about E-Mobility as well as autonomous driving and the impact on economy or society have been out in public for years. Sure it's nice to be stunned by a car being fast when you don't expect it to be. But we'll get bored very soon. Electric super cars are toys for the rich and with todays technology they are not even a real challenge for automotive developers. There is also no need for a special AI based training for racecar drivers because it's only a show anyway. It will only up the costs every racing team has to spent when it want's to compete. Nothing new to see here!
