Accelerating VR Cave capabilities for the automobolity sector

Virtualware recently announced the release of a new feature of VIROO that makes it compatible with multi-projection systems, such as CAVE, Powerwalls, Domes, etc.
This setup includes a cluster of 4 NVIDIA Quadro RTX powered workstations, running Microsoft Windows, 4 Barco UDX-4K32 projectors, three walls, and floor, ArtTracker (Advanced Realtime Tracking) for accurate head 6DOF pose tracking and ART Flystick2 controller, an ultra-low latency network for content syncing, and NVIDIA Sync for multi-projected stereoscopic sync shuttering using Volfoni 3D active stereo glasses.
Our incredible development team got a remarkable development achievement by implementing our own stereo rendering module, which allows displaying stereo graphics directly in Unity, not depending on outdated stereo drivers, so we can guarantee compatibility with current and future versions of Unity runtimes.
We make it easy to set up VIROO for a multi-projection system. It is very simple to create a new customized equipment type in the VIROO Control Panel, allowing one to specify the multi-screen layout and correlate physical space corners to ensure perfect alignment and perspective correction.
VIROO also enables the deployment of cloud-hosted content with just a few clicks. Local sessions can be shared among remote users using VR headsets, VIROO rooms, or players running on a simple desktop with a keyboard and mouse.
Our tracking abstraction makes it easy to create scenes for VIROO using our Unity bundle named VIROO Studio. You can test these scenes on a single computer or VR headset like HTC VIVE, PICO XR, Oculus VR, or any other OpenXR-compliant device and seamlessly deploy them in a complex CAVE environment.
This feature implementation has been developed in the framework of our partnership with Invest WindsorEssex (IWE) with the support of the Ontario Centre of Innovation Network (OVIN) as part of the collaborative program offerings at the Windsor-Essex Regional Technology Development Site (RTDS).
