Mark Tornillo is a very underrated singer....ok he's not the greatest of all, it's a fact....but...when the band deceided to keep the spirit whithin havin a singer with the same voice after the departure of UDO...they choosed the right guy ! Mark do a PERFECT job...there's no doubt....he can sing the old songs perfectly, and we can still listen to those old classics almost like they were back in a days !....Mark is a killer singer, a very humble guy...and sadly underrated !...he still keep the early years spirit alive...ACCEPT took the right decision whithin choosing Mark...maybe some of you won't share my opinion...but that''s what i think....soory for my poor english...cheers from south France !

Accept broke my left eardrum back when I was 18, as I was in the front row and the amps were at stage level back then. It was definitely worth it to hear them back then with Peter Baltes and Udo, along with Wolf Hoffman. Just the battle scars of metal, which I am sure any metal fan would understand. I still have ringing in that ear, and it sounds like Neon Nights. I love their years with Herman Frank on rhythm guitar as well. They do not get credit for their amazing guitar tone, and bass lines as well as their very, very deep song catalog. They are still doing original music when most of the 80's metal bands are retired or playing old, worn songs. I miss Udo, Herman Frank and Peter Baltes, but I think that Mark Tornillo and Joel Hoekstra are doing an excellent job.
j'aime accept depuis restless and wild on écoutait cela avec mon amis d'enfance à la recreation au lycée puis chez nous, en surboum en fait tout le temps, sans oublier breaker, balls to the wall etc

"As usual, we have the same comments from posers and tourists of metal who barely know the band's repertoire (aside from Restless and Wild and Balls to the Wall) rehashing the same clichés and misguided common places: 'why three guitars?' (seriously dude, where have you been these past 4 years? don't pretend to be a purist if you notice it only now), 'oh, Bruce Willis!', 'where's Udo?', 'I don't know that song, therefore it is bad/weak', 'Wolf's solo band', " No Udo, No Accept", 'In my boomer's days, it was better', 'Who's that bassist/new guitarist? Seriously what kind of pseudo-fans are you if you're only noticing that kind of detail now? Come on, if you don't know their music beyond 80s releases, don't pretend to play the purist and spare us your ignorant, ill-informed opinions. And for the rest, if you don't like it, don't stay and listen to something else. They're not going to change just because you're unhappy or nostalgic of the very restricted part of their repertoire you're familiar with. Edit: Considering the absurd misunderstanding my post generated, I'm specifying: 1. I'm not criticizing people's musical preferences, not the issue. To each his own. I'm criticizing misguided or ill-informed comments and clichés from posers who often pretend to be veteran purists despite their limited knowledge of the band's back catalog and history. In other words, you are free to dislike the evolution of Accept, but spare us your pseudo-expertise, when you're actually ignorant. 2. As a diehard fan who's been listening to the band for over 40 years, I obviously know their repertoire in depth far beyond the obvious classics.

My words! In my opinion, Accept is currently stronger than ever before (especially with three guitarists live)! They deliver a great show every time and are also able to keep a very high level at their new studio records! Accept rules 🤘🤘🤘
@MarkOhlsson5 ай бұрын
@@tobias3023 And the problem, people who complain about three guitars are so ignorant in music, they don't even realize that earlier albums already used more than two guitar parts in 80s classic albums. That's precisely why having three guitars is the least they can do to approach the original arrangement of the song. But people focus on image instead of the musical content. Since the two guitars axe was an iconic image, they assumed bullshit, don't get passed that image. They are easilly deceived by marketing.

@LucWarner5 ай бұрын
@@dirface There's nothing incoherent in my criticism. You simply misread or read it carelessly. On the other hand, your own rant is based on a naïve assumption of absolute relativism, where every opinion is considered equally valid. If we were to base arguments on such a relativist premise, then your claim would be as pointless or no more valid than anyone else's. Therefore, your criticism can be dismissed as subscribing to a viewpoint where anything goes. On the other hand, in my view, informed knowledge of the band carries more weight than the opinions of those who know little about them and merely pose as purists.

That 3 part harmony lead in Fast as a shark was fucking BAD ASS!!!! It had me up on the edge of my chair rockin to nobody. I remember the first time I heard that song, long before metal became mainstream, i KNEW right then and there, this was the song of my people 🤘😝 🎶 HI-DE HI-DO HI-DA SCRRRAATCH🎶 FUCK YEAH!!! Princess of the dawn can make people sing that aint even metal fans. I bet even Udo says, "Damn this ol' boy nails it!" Classic metal will never die!!!! I would hate to be the act to follow these guys, they set the bar way up there!!
