She did a lower pitch, so that helped. She also learned how to project her voice to greater effect. A good posture is also important. Her voice did change. It was fuller and less stressed.

I so enjoy the lightness this girl steps into...and her courage...the space that the audience is for her too- and I wonder what else changed in her life from this entire experience.
@luciak.32587 жыл бұрын
yeah she's relaxed the second day, but there's more to it - she's controlling her breath and she puts emotions into it - she now thinks about the song and what it means, and not about the audience. That's half the success for any singer. :)

she did good the overall lesson wasn't so much proper breathing technique or tone or using your diaphram correctly but overcoming fear. You have to start with that and the others will follow naturally.

There is a massive difference. She first sang from her throat and upper chest, then she was told to sing from her belly, to generate the pressure with the abdominal muscles. That frees the pressure and strain in the chest and her voice. With more training she will start to increase volume and depth. The difference was in the technique.
@jessicafraleigh679211 жыл бұрын

Im sorry but I can tell you EXACTLY what just happened there. He brought up a very nervous girl and put her on the spot, gently spoke to her, and built her self esteem and confidence and she loosened up. She got louder and more confident, and used more chest voice than falsetta. Done... no magic trick...

She started off too high for her comfortable range, didn't really change much but the second day she started lower. I saw a tiny improvement in confidence purely based on the fact that someone was giving her pointers. I think the actual technique from the coach was worse than even I could have done.
@Lanearndt7 жыл бұрын
I wish she had kept it in the same key, A minor third lower is A LOT for the voice and she projected much less as a result...Having said that, I thought the original key (Bbmin) was just on the edge of too high and the next-day-key (Gmin) was on the edge of too low. Original key of Amin is probably her sweet spot?
@jeny71777 жыл бұрын
Next day she sang in lower key.. not singing using throat voice..
@cheaquettaj11 жыл бұрын
I heard a difference and I think it came from the little girl making a connection with the song as the instructor told her too. Warming up to the audience and the instructor after singing the song several times also helped. She is a beautiful little girl who needs to sing a song she can connect to, and also she needs to work on her breathing technique.

Well from I guess from those who don't sing you would not hear a differance. However if you listen to the tamber of her voice it comes from a nasel un impressive sound to a better more powerful sound. If your looking for Pee Wee Herman to sound like Josh Groben in 5 min then you need to find a miricle worker, but to change a young voice so quickly. It was a really great job.

I'm seeing all these comments about how her voice doesn't change. You all aren't listening close enough, don't use your eyes and your ears, but your ears alone. The difference isn't going to be large but little. Tune your hears to hear the slightest things.

I'm a dude who struggles with singing and is currently trying very hard to change that, but I have to be honest.. Her voice has potential if she works on it, but it's just...flat of where she wants it to be. I don't know... like some people on the voice and stuff sound great to me but then they are turned down like some of the most awful singers on there
@jakeerne207610 жыл бұрын
I'd like to point out that when she sang on the second day, she started quite a few keys lower than she did on the first day. This is a trick used by many people in high school when auditioning for musicals. If there's a note that person can't quite hit or is just out of their range, all they have to do is import it into a simple audio editor (such as Audacity, which I hate) and "cheat" by dropping the pitch by a half step or two. I'm not saying there wasn't any improvement at all, or even that she did this on purpose, but it's not quite as amazing and mind blowing as it seems.
