Thanks very much for your input. In the beginning shot, our staff were using underwater viewing scopes to look for Eastern Elliptio mussels. The lowest surface of the scopes are underwater, thus allowing a clear look at the bottom which would otherwise be obstructed by the fast moving current of the water's surface.

Some good outdoor activities shown here. Folks, don't forget August 12-13 is peak August Perseid meteor shower. Mars is up, Saturn, and Jupiter too and the Moon was New on 11-August. Good time to enjoy a meteor shower and some planet observing along the ecliptic.
