One thing i look for if a service dog is involved is the ability to attach pull strings to the handles. Some styles actually have a loop on the end of the handle, but most have to be modified tastefully.

WAY bigger option than what the big box stores have. Interesting though. Very few limitations when you have enough money.

If at some point they dont work out as door-handles he can convert them to toilet paper holders instead.

All homes should be built to accommodate the elderly and disabled. This will be better for everyone. Large wide doorways and hallways make using a cane, walker or wheel chair much easier. Bathrooms or wet rooms need to have flat floors and no shower hump or pan. A flat floor allows for easy access and drains need to provided. Easy to use lever door and faucet handles are easier for the elderly to grip and open. Main floors should include a master bedroom, restroom, shower, laundry and wide walk in closet with few steps to enter. Homes should be designed with aging in place in mind.

@@SteveBennet500harder time selling a million dollar house with $10 knobs. The hardware should match the design of the house. If you really want to see crazy, there are architects that are paid to shop for old Victorian style handles that are architectural salvage places. Could take months and cost $50k but they fit the feel of the house. And they are authentic. If you’re renting a house in the hood, you obviously wouldn’t do that. To each their own but when I was shopping, I checked doors and hardware everywhere. If they were solid and had good knobs, I know the house was taken care of.

There are very nice accessible handles and faucets, etc out there that are not expensive. I recently did some updating in my house as I’m getting up there in age. Of course I don’t have a fancy home that I needed to try to match.

@@johnlebzelter4208watched AND even commented LoL There's nothing wrong supporting locally owned businesses, instead of flushing more money to companies who could care less.
