I never thought much about accessibility until I needed it...now I think about it all the time. It's great to see that someone somewhere is building in accessibility from the start. That kitchen is a dream!

Love all the thoughtful planning and inclusion for families who struggle to find appropriate housing for them and their families and friends (to visit) and enjoy!

Great house, I especially love the fact that there's an actual elevator, not just a stair lift. But what I unfortunately have to say: The audio is just not good. You could buy a microphone with cardioid characteristics, only if you think it's definitely worth it

OMG I'm Speechless of how amazing this is! Love seeing you Tanelle so radiant in happiness for this great habitat. Just a question, how will the elevators work if the power goes out, is there a big generator?

Elevators in houses will typically not have battery back up. Most of them use a hydraulic system, which will have a release.

Tanelle, I have to say...Habitat for Humanity ONLY works in large communities. Let's say you were rural and asked them for help...that would be a 'no'. Habitat for Humanity IS NOT for small areas. They want people to talk tem up. They are seriously bad news.

Bravo once again Tanelle this is a powerful step, go girl go you never cease to amaze mem
@morgancalvi66753 жыл бұрын
@@vickibathurst4341 I can't say I would ever push a company that has refused to help others. Tanelle is in a major city. If she were in a rural one and had asked for their help there...and they said 'no'...I wonder if she would still be in favour of them. Now in Habitat's defense, the rural community I was in was in a different country....but it was after the Ice Storm of '98...and FEMO had stepped in...but you think they'd want their name out there for having helped.
@ProTipsForParas3 жыл бұрын
They haven't helped me. I was helping them in getting the word out about a home they have thoughtfully designed. I can't afford a home of any kind at the moment, living on disability assistance. I had to move from a rural community back into an urban one for medical assistance and quality of life... before my support of them is judged.
@morgancalvi66753 жыл бұрын
@@ProTipsForParasI realize that...but they should be a shamed of themselves for their $$$ attitude. 'If you're in a big city...you must have big bucks and we'll help'....
