How I wish this would my situation. Like I could use my hands. but not. You may wondering how I'm able to type, I just use my thumbs and place my phone flat where I was sitting. I'm dependent and need someone to take care of me. How I wish I could use my hands like yours.

Rubbish, Employers dont want people who have mobility issues, i know ive lost count how many interviews i failed because they said the job wouldn't suit me even though i was more than experienced enough for the job, the Equality Act is a losd of BS no solicitor wants to get involved with discrimination against disabled by employers

Hi Loved your video. Polio ? Im in a chair too and I understand your issues, But sometimes you just have to get creative. I had polio at 18 months old. But now I 71 and have been married twice and have a son . Sending my best wishes to you in all your endeavors. Oh by the way I think your a very pretty young lady. I prefer elastic stretch pants just so much easier to get in and out of.

A well designed bit of kit. But unfortately it is very heavy and as a result you dont get much forward motion for your input.

RBKA as of 8/23. Was discharged to home after 21 days in rehab. ABSOLUTELY NO HELP AVAILABLE ANYWHERE FOR ME. NO NURSE. NOTHING! I have PTSD from this experience. Just can't seem to get past it. I am Grateful I can walk & drive again instead of being stuck at home alone for the last 15 mos. God is good all the time ❤

$3 thousand dollars??? SERIOUSLY? I bought an Adult tricycle and it only cost me $300 and NOT $3 grand... like this thing! My trike has a front and back basket so I can carry groceries! And, I wouldn't fall off! AND.. It's not easy to steal!

I love when people create disability aides, and then mark up the price so high that it locks out the majority of disabled people across the globe because we usually don’t make the kind of money necessary for the disability tax.

And people wonder why it takes us so long to take a shower. A 5 or 10 minite shower is no longer a thinf for me lol. If be lucky to be able ro fully undress in 5 minites now lol.

I thought all these problems would be only in Germany…. it’s so sad, that we disabled persons aren’t welcome in this world😢😢. No one thinks about the possibility that everyone could have an accident or an illness that brings one in a wheelchair. Hoply it become better one day.

I put my pants on in bed before I get in my chair. Have u ever seen pants that were made for ppl in chairs? They are higher in the back and way lower in the front. I stopped wearing jeans years ago, but my injury is t8t9 so all I have is high chest around boobs and my arms, which after 23 yrs of pushing after my sci, my right shoulder is going out. And it really helps that ur not overweight and have a belly in the way as if u was pregnant haha. What is ur injury level? I see that ur body is very lose in the muscle tone, no spasms. I have a baclofen pump and still if my legs r even touched I go into a spazz. If I didn't have my pump I wouldn't be able to do anything bc my spasms r SO F BAD!!!

I am able to walk but I have a disability. I have complained about the washrooms because often someone in a wheel chair could not even get in and are they are really dangerous because someone in a wheel chair could get stuck..

A note: JC Penney has a nice adaptive clothing line, and reasonably priced. The St. John's Bay line comes in Adaptive form. IZ Adaptive is also very nice clothes for wheelchair users.

I used to post videos on KZbin, my channel is still up. I am a para of 38 years and am about to turn 70. Still very active/adventurous and live in Oregon. I’ve watched several of your videos today, you are one tough girl! You have my admiration! I drive up to Vancouver BC and Victoria to see wife’s relatives. Canada is sadly retarded when it comes to accessibility. I have hotels send me pictures of rooms before I make reservations and bring a portable padded shower bench and a low profile roho cushion for it, that way I can use a tub or roll in shower and set up good no matter where they put grab bars for your back to deal with. I’ve never seen a lift in Canada to get you in and out of a hotel pool, never anywhere in the whole country of Canada. Almost all hotel pools in the US have them. Only place in Canada you will find them is at public pools full of rowdy kids! I can’t count the times I’ve had to get a wash cloth bath because bathrooms were designed by some educated idiot that never knew anybody with a disability. I admire you young lady! Want to see an adventurous guy, watch a few of my videos! I wish you many healthy years of adventures, you have sparked my enthusiasm to go for some more! Headed for Maui in seven weeks! If you are ever on Oahu, go for a glider ride on the north shore, I have a video on my channel of my wife and I doing it and it was a rush of a lifetime. The pilot even offered to do acrobatics but my wife has meniors and she said please, no! Haha! Take care my new internet buddy! Keep posting! PS: if you are ever in Victoria BC, do yourself a favor and get an accessible room at the Grand Pacific Hotel, it is my all time favorite room anywhere!

I tell ya once you have used a completely compatible handicapped bathroom while traveling makes you not want to travel at all if you can't find one where ever you're traveling to!!!!

Best bathrooms i have ever seen. I was in Dallas last year and my Ant rented a hotel room for me and my mother and to my shock and awwwwww lol that was the first bathroom i have ever been in that was wheelchair compatible i have ever used. And i loved it too. Its not as nice as the one you where in in this video but. It sure beat the heck out of staying at someones house and you can't get around in and use the bathroom on your own.
