David Hasselhoff Reveals He Just Saw Actor Who Voiced 'Knight Rider's' KITT

David Hasselhoff just saw the man behind KITT. The TV icon chatted with Access Daily's Mario Lopez and Scott Evans about recently seeing William Daniels, who voiced KITT on the hit series "Knight Rider." David also opened up about the future of the beloved show and revealed if there are any plans for a movie or a reboot. I didn't meet him, but I seen him back in 2016 at the Staples Center in 2016. A girl pulled up in a Kit replica. Then the Hoff pulled up moments later with a different car and camera crew. They filmed a commercial. He's taller than I realized. It was crazy because he did it on a regular street in front of regular people. There was no barricade or warning. We were waiting to go in for a Clippers game.

I was wondering why it wasn't shown in the clip though. Back when the series was being recorded William Daniel's did his recordings on a sound stage studio and it was later edited dubbed in before shown on tv. William's involvement was him parking, walking to the sound studio and recording lines for that weeks episode for 30 minutes. William Daniel's was doing the TV show ay the time called Saint Elsewhere. David and William first met at the season one Christmas party.

That is correct they originally met at a Christmas party during the first or second season so that made this interview seem kind of weird. I'm going to State something else which people are going to make comments about the Mandela effect but i swear on a stack of Bibles the guy that did the voice of Kitt I'd swear died around 10 years ago and I know there are multiple KZbin videos talking about the show that make references of him passing away around 2008 or 2010.he i thank was reported to have passed away after doing the voice for the Knight Rider GPS that was a anniversary product which ended up getting nail for copyright issues and being told from the market. I remember them talking about him passing away around the time the GPS came out.so its really strange that Hasselhoff is talking about meeting the guy at his home recently where I'd swear he died about ten years back or more.i Can't believe he's selling the car I know he used to have to screen used ones his wife got one of them in a divorce if I remember correctly and I think he sold the other one and then a few years later he bought a replica that was done by somebody that is one of the more famous replica Builders and they built the car specifically for him I think it was like 2008 or 2006 when he bought the replica there's a KZbin video about it frankly don't feel like cracking it down and getting the link.it i believe was done by a lady that does replicas of the car and he specifically commissioned her to do one took a little over a year. My brother has one of what he said is one of the original cars from the show sitting in his garage for years all it needs a new batterie but all the stuff used to work on it years ago idk if it still dose but it doesn't do cool stuff like yours they obviously just add the voice with editing but I walk by it all the time but haven't sat in it since Christmas a year ago. It wasn't a stunt car like the other 5 left from the show those didn't even have the fancy dash it was used for close up shots no stunts is what I was told. One of his companies is in universal studious so I guess he knows people who know all that stuff.

@KITThappens i don't know much about it exept its his friends car he is a celebrity who paid alot for it years ago because it was an original they are rich people in the entertainment business so i assumed he bought it from a legit source. Idk any details i never asked i Just like that show and thought it was cool. If you saw it could you tell? You are definitely an expert on this that's for sure!

You know if David doesn't get to be in the new Knight Rider movie, he should start his own TV show called Down With The HOFF Interviews with countless other celebrities both young and old! In the US it'll be similar to every other late show but in the UK...it'll be so much more, and with his energy and creativity it'll be a blast and fun to watch!
