Taylor Swift Reflects On Having Control Of Her Creativity In 2010 'Speak Now' Intv

Taylor Swift is reflecting on being in control of her own destiny in a throwback interview with Access Hollywood from 2010. "I love living that way, where you have control over everything that happens creatively and artistically, like putting a tour together and knowing that you had a hand in every decision that was made. Everything from the way the trucks are wrapped to the way the stage looks to every single cue of the curtains. I live for that, I just love it," she explained. On July 7, 2023, Taylor released her lasted re-recorded album "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" and back when she was promoting the original, she reflected on writing songs that were so personal to her. "I don't think I would be able to tell a partial story or a very general version of 'this is what happened' it's just part of it for me, that's part of why I love it," she shared.

This is going to take all Three of us, Taylor. It's a mistake to think God doesn't hate those who live apart from Him. I know you don't want to believe this but I got a peek inside a different universe studying you. People don't move for things they don't believe in, even to save their own lives. Striving for nothing is worse than death to them. We're seriously insufficient without you. I've never met a woman who was able to keep advancing my understanding, but you are. A lifetime of self development centered around the worthy cause is irreplaceable, and enhances capability well beyond the average. You risked your life for this, because you don't want the Light to go out over the Earth. I know you have these fears, but you carried on anyway. There is no higher responsibility I can give you.
