Here is a video on how to replace your light bulbs for your accessory panel for the AC, Heat, and motor blower dial. This repair is pretty easy to do and only takes about 10 minutes from start to finish. I did it in real-time to show you the amount of time it actually takes!

You can easily check your bulbs to ensure they are working by using a multimeter and using the continuity and attach it to both of the metal pieces. If it peeps, then it's good.
This video should work on Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country for Generation 4 for the years of 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. It should be very similar for years before and after this.

Why does Dodge use t10 screws? It would be so much easier with just philips screws bc everyone has a philips screwdriver at home!

Yeah, they also use metric and standard sizes bolts in various places on the vehicle. Many manufactures use multiple types of screw heads to keep mechanics guessing, lol. I was working on the ignition switch the other day and it uses a t-10 security bit. I'm thankful years ago I bought a set of security bits that came in very handy!

On the 2001-2007 Chrysler Town and Country with the optional Three Zone Fluorescent Display, the three temperatures, A/C control, the bulbs are Germ of Wheat, 12 Volt SOLDERED IN INCANDESCENT LIGHTBULBS! I have not found ones with the cute white bases Mopar had, but clearing the wire holes by heating the pads and wiggling the old ones alternately will remove them then fluxing they pads and using either a vacuum desoldering tool or solder wick, fluxed copper braid and more solder applied first and enough heat will clear the holes to thread the leads through. Once soldered and straight, and leads are trimmed at the solder joint, apply a right sized blob of clear Silicone RTV Rubber from permatex, or just about any of the RTV suppliers such as DAP or General Electric. Position the bulbs perpendicular to the board and remove any excess RTV, so the bulb can shine through well, let cure before reassembling. Before reassembling, clean all black carbon or metal printed contact pads with 91% Alcohol as well as the fluorescent tube glass face to reduce grease film and dirt fogging as well as the inside of the clear plastic window. Touch up any scratched plastic keys and install any push pins encountered through the light distribution clear plastic and clean each of the black carbon contact pads on the grey rubber mat, install all of this with the front face down, and put screws in and tighten m, then put into the car harnesses and infrared sensor, short harness and test all key functions. To make sure you have assembled all the push pins correctly and all up/down and s function buttons respond such as recirculate, rear window electric defogger, auto high/low and The A/C Snowflake on/off in A/C Modes and defog and entire system on/ off PWR button! If passing, finish reassembling into facia cover, and making sure to reconnect upper switch panel.if there are back lights burned out of the top switch panel that does the emergency hazard light and rear Washer/wiper controls and the optional high low switches for front seat heaters, the same soldered in builbs are used there too of course. Chrysler busy nave used the same Mexican controls vendor, as these are the same exact bulbs as used in the Chevrolet Monte Carlo with slide hot cold adjusters. In it’s case, the easiest way to repair was to peel back carefully, the plastic overlay, and using tweezers, grip the bulbs and wiggle while heating the pc boars through hole pads an then clearing solder out of the holes as mentioned above. In those bulbs, it is necessary to apply the bad of clear silicone rubber before soldering the align the bulb position while the silicone is still gel,, after soldering and trimming leads.

Do you remember the part number to the bulbs or the amperage? I have a 02 TC with 3 zone. I have a 01 Grand Caravan and the lights in the 2 zone are SMT leds. The CB has the wholes for the screw in bulbs but no pads. I was hoping the 3 zone in my tc was going to be SMT leds also…soon to find out. I would like to have incandescents just in case they are not led. Hopefully you remember the milliamp…I am guessing 60ma 12v

I’m glad to see attention to detail in restoration back to as built lighting functions! Your procedure works for the lightbulb backlit instrument cluster with rotate locked in bulbs as well as the just pressed in place top of the dash, high beam/turn signal indicator indicator, brow panel. Why Chrysler couldn’t have included those functions in the Instrument Cluster, defies my logical explanations to explain their design choices!

Not probably in the way you are thinking of degreaser. They do make a varieties of that. You need get let it set and then spray down engine bay with water. There’s a higher chance of ruining electrical components of your vehicle if you are not extremely careful. It can be done but use great caution!

Very helpful. Any resource for the lights besides another vehicle? And does the green board cover ALL the lights? Everything on my 2006 Chysler minivan is out between the DVD lights up to the seat heaters. I noticed there were 4 lights. My side dimmer is also out. Doe it also have the same lights? Thanks.

I am unsure of the size due to picking up the spare part in a junk yard with the bulbs already attached. You can always call a Dodge Dealership and ask for the parts department. Then, ask them for a part number based on the make, model, and year. They should be able to tell you if you can use an LED instead as well.

I do not, I'm sorry. You can call up your local Dodge dealership and ask for parts. Give them your year, make, and model and they will be able to give you the number. They maybe able to order it for you and get it shipped to their store (or maybe your house) if not in stock. You might also be able to pull it and go to a local auto parts stores and see what they that's similar. It might be a different color or brightness though. I've had to do this before for the instrument panel, but it was a bit cheaper than the dealership. Good luck on your project.

Not sure. I don’t remember any marking on them. Call up a dodge dealer and ask for parts. They will be able to tell you the part number or bulb number. I’m sure you will be able to find what you need after you have that. Mine came off a junk yard part I already owned. Sorry!

If you contact a local Mopar parts department, they should be able to tell you the bulb number. I had an old part from a junkyard that I just reuse the bulbs from it. That is definitely another option.
