Quincy Jones, snuck in and destroyed this group!! It was Quincy that stole Robb from heatwave and in my opinion had a Lott to do with Johnny's alleged car accident!!! But Johnny wasn't that nice of a person to his band mates that made it easier for Rob to make that jump.... Johnny ran that group like a slave master with a whip..... Johnny bullied them boys..... Quincy was jealous of johnny and made sure Heatwave never made real ground in the USA.....

We rolled into this little park and in front of me appeared this happy looking man with an incredible smile in a wheel chair as we got closer I realized that It was Mr. Johnnie Wilder Jr. .......Drac knew that he was my favorite singer! I loved HEATWAVE ❤❤ Johnny Wilder Jr.'s voice was phenomenal, reading about the accident that would cause his paralysis until the end of his life was beyond heartbreaking the BAND as a whole was extremely amazing and yes they suffered many tragedies amongst some of the members, Front Man Rod Templeton out of Great Britain was so--ooo TALENTED he was the songwriter, producer, And keyboardist, as well as his work with other Artists whom were in the business before HEATWAVE, too sad however their longevity was much too short 😢, their songs were all so beautiful especially the BALLADS most of them written by Rod Templeton, there were so many of these songs that were rarely played by DJ's on the radio😮, my favorites "All You Do Is Dial", "Star of the Story"Ain't No Half Stepping", etc. they were the BEST -- ALWAYS AND FOREVER😊🥰🥰.
