Another really great video, Finn. Loving every minute of it. From the boy's incredible story in the beginning, to the unexpected beautiful cave "with a view", and the amazing drone footage, to chillin' with the kiddos in the end... You continue to put out quality content. Congratulations on your numbers going up. You will break 1000 before too long, and after that you will get really noticed and you will soar into the stars. So happy to take this ride with you all the way to the top. : )

this is what i like about your channel, you don't go where most tourist will go. you discover an island only Filipino knew about basically and you open the eyes of many of your subscribers how genuinely friendly Filipino are even it is in a very remote island... good job man!

The story about the kid is sad but is also inspiring... It goes to show that no matter what you are handed in life, you can still make the best of what you do have! That cave was amazing, I love that there is just a huge tree growing right there in the middle! By the way, I think the walls were sparkling because of calcite crystals. Thanks for sharing the story and your adventures!

And it's a breath of fresh air from all the other travel vlogs i see in youtube. Your content is honest, raw and beautiful. It's a pleasure to have you Finn exploring our wonderful islands especially the not so popular ones yet. It's a big exposure on the net of these paradise. You should have brought with you your friends next time (the ones having same passion as yours...) especially your lover. But I think you are still looking for one and your lovely tour guide seems to like you, haven't you noticed??? hehehe... you're a good looking guy whom Filipinas would like to marry. So explore more of the Philippines and settle for good here when you are already serious of having a family of your own. I know it will still be that later for you are still at the prime of your life,. Americans usually settle when they are already retired and tired. I will be following your adventures and we might accidentally meet in one of the many tourist places here in the Philippines. Have more fun Finn...

This brought back to my mind the hike you took with your Uncle back in Iceland and I was, at first, going to suggest that you do a handstand the way that he did at the top, but then I saw how much you were suffering, so I decided to give you a pass instead. I was thinking that that cave might have been at one time a deep well like one would find in Mexico before the land rose into the heights.
@FinnSnowVlogs7 жыл бұрын
Exactly, I think the cave was underwater at one point, that's how the rock formations were carved out.
@maayongaga7297 жыл бұрын
Steven Lester Hi I hope you do more exploring in our islands. I went to Guimaras group of islands and yes there were many caves there too. The roofs of the caves have fossils of plants, dishes and other creatures from the ocean. Long ago our islands were probably submerged under water. Thanks for Finn' s adventure.

No!!! please do not touch them :( it makes me cry, those are stalactites and stalagmites. It takes a minimum of 1,000 years to 190,000 years to be able to form 1. Touching them would just stop them from growing :(

Hi Finn! Those white thing you saw inside the cave are mineral formation called stalactites and stalagmites. They should not be touched because skin oils can alter the surface tension where the mineral water clings or flows, thus affecting the growth of the formation. Oils and dirt from human contact can also stain the formation and change its color permanently. I hope the community in that island are aware of the significance of this cave coz it has to be protected. Saw one of these in Puerto Princesa when we did spelunking at Ugong Rock Adventures. The guide told us that those very bright, sparkling thing is an indication that the stalactite is a live one, and touching it is strictly prohibited. Amazing video by the way! Keep it up. Looking forward for more. Subscribed! :)
