Harry's word = praesidium meaning protector/protection Ron's word = fidelitas meaning faithfulness Hermione's word = eruditas meaning having or showing knowledge that is gained by studying Luna's word = amicitas meaning for friendship (though it really should've been Amicitia no s but I won't gripe that no one really knows Latin anyways lol) Ginny's word = fortitudo meaning courage which hail yeah that's Ginny in the books. We don't talk about movie Ginny here.

When I saw a black piece of cloth, I started screaming “It’s a patch!” over and over. As a child of the 1980’s, I remember that not all patches were the type you iron on. I have a backpack with 3 ‘iron on’ patches I had to hand sew along the edges, because I was afraid of losing them. I wonder how good Cherry’s sewing skills are?

I feel you with the cherry smell. It's the same for me, but with strawberrys. @@bp1354 Before the films came out, I definitely said it as Ah-cho, as c+i or e in Italian ( one of the three languages I studied at university) starts with the ch sound, and Italian is pretty much the closest language to Latin that we have! I also pronounced Nagini with a soft g ( so like j) as g is soft in front of i or e in Italian too.
