Accomodation in Australia for International Students!!

That’s amazing! If you mean time restrictions there are none since you’d have a key card for yourself to freely enter and exit accommodation whenever you feel like it!

Bro! Did you have to join the waitlist or you could directly book your room right away! I am trying since last few weeks through campus villages webpage of WSU for Parramatta, Bankstown, Campbelltown, ..., and for all of them it is showing "join waitlist"! Any idea that I could book from any other websites?

When I was applying in 2022 Jan the Australian borders were just opening and I don’t think the accommodation was as crowded as it is these days so fortunately I didn’t have to join a waitlist. I’d say it’s best you start looking for other places maybe through Amber (link in the description) since it doesn’t have to be Western Sydney accommodation you move into straight away and the more important thing is having a place to live while in Sydney. In the meantime if possible call/email the WSU village accommodation and ask if they are full or if they do have vacancies so you can get a clearer idea of the situation. Hope this helps!

Hey I wouldn't have a direct link unfortunately but try contacting student accomodation of UNSW or flatmates or gumtree websites to find accomodation

I’ll join WSU in July intake. Does Sydney campus provide student accommodation?

It does have campus accomodation. Google “WSU village accomodation” and you should find it!

Needed this video!! Gonna be moving to WSU in March but I am wondering will accommodation spots be available by that time? Dont most rooms fill up by January? Especially studios and 2 bedroom apartments? Do u know if vacancies remain till later in the year?

Super glad you found the video helpful!! Availability might depend on your home campus because there’s accommodation for almost all campuses at WSU (parramatta, bankstown, campbelltown etc) Most rooms can fill up and the sooner you apply the better honestly. Try using the link in the description to apply with amber or if not head on over to WSU village accommodation to apply. Happy to help with any other questions

Thank you for your response! Right. My campus is Paramatta which I am assuming is the most crowded, and therefore availability might be limited. I have already applied to amber and Western Sydney University village. Hoping I am able to secure a place at a convenient time :) Looking forward to following your journey through your videos!!

Just to be safe try sending out an email to village management just to confirm availabilities or have a quick phone call with them even so if availability is scarce there’s time to consider other options
