This is great, very clear, repeated enough for clarity and absorption but not to the point of wasting any time, and made very nice and complete without saying "But you probably already know this". You must have taught people all this before - it doesn't come out that clearly if you haven't worked on it some.

Playing a walking bass on the left hand is also very achievable! : )

+Ash E-B Yes! Didn't discuss it in this lesson, but blues definitely lends itself to a walking bass line.

Thanks for this very interesting video, however, maybe in the future, some closeups on the accordion might be helpful, like you had in your Shostakovitch videos. Also moving while you play the accordion makes it very difficult to see what you are doing. In anycase thanks again, love your videos!

+Hugo Lalonde THanks for the feedback Hugo. Will try and get some close-ups in future videos.

The acoustics could be improved as there is an echo down their in your basement or garage. Hang some thick quilts around the piano to help absorb the sound.

I would love to have a dedicated space for these, with sound dampening, better microphone, etc. Hopefully this year!

great video! why is it called the 12 bar blues?
@moshezuchter8 жыл бұрын
I believe it's called 12 bar blues because the progression lasts for 12 bars. I'm not sure whether I played it for 12 bars in the video, but you can see the structure here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve-bar_blues

do a 12 bar with a turn around to start over again,,,sounds better with diatoni accordion
