They ALWAYS are. They can NEVER just take responsibility and apologize. They have to explain why it's YOUR fault their employee acted that way. You know how unwilling to and uninterested in accountability they are bc they first claim they can't speak to a situation bc they weren't there, and therefore, don't know what happened. But, when you offer to show them what happened, they act like you offered them poison. If you actually cared ab the public being served and treated with respect, you would definitely want to see evidence that showed your employee engaged in misconduct. This guy doesn't care and has no intention of doing anything to fix it.

If you were seeking records on yourself or any of your family members then you’d have to verify that you are you, but if it’s public government records, you can even do it anonymously. You’d only have to pay for the copies, digital or physical, at least I do in my state. To be extra sure I would look up the freedom of information act in your state (it might be called something else for your state) and the federal law (FOIA) just to make sure. Then I would email whoever told you no with a copy and paste of what the law says for both state and federal, and put the records that you want to request in there too. There’s nothing saying you can’t ask multiple times, so don’t give up, hope this helps!

You should 100% film the police when they're dealing with a mental health issue. Cops often mishandle these situations and sometimes arrest, abuse, or even k*ll people who are having a mental health crisis bc they treat them like criminals who need to be punished instead of human beings who need help. My husband is a therapist, and I'm personally aware of several instances of these things happening. It's very important to document these interactions. Now, I would definitely not post these videos, but you should absolutely please, please record them.

Ill be honest, before videos like this, i really had no idea what was in a city hall, i thought cthe mayor and his crew, we have two towns one has a town hall the other has a court house, both have their own police, both a main street, seperated by less than a mile, some refer to the nort side as old town, in my side,the offices are either in the court house, or they have separate office building, mapping department, i never had any business in city hall on the north side, its all in the same county, i did have community service in some of the other buildings when i was younger, so videos like these are helpful in many ways! It also introduces the city employees to the people!
