If I've had an EXCELLENT TEACHER WITH CRYSTAL CLEAR DEFINITION like this, I wouldn't have flunked my account studies..! 👏👏👏
@Ari-lu5ve
@Ari-lu5ve 5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, my accounting teacher was clueless as well, and sadly he also was the teacher for my math class. Because it was a small class of like 20 students, he decided it was ok not to teach (yeah screw him). I studied well and ended up getting a B in Accounting and an A in math (I had to spend so much money on a Math tutor though). But yeah, bad teachers sucks but its a good thing KZbin exists haha.

You actually explained everything seamlessly and related every accounting principle to a real world, practical use! You didn't just regurgitate definitions and equations, you truly helped me understand how to apply the knowledge. SADLY, SO MANY COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES DO NOT TEACH THIS WAY! And this is honestly why so many students graduate and don't have the skills needed. Some are lazy but for the rest of us, we just don't get professors like you that actually teach one how to fish? For every one of you there are like 1000 just mumbling and bell curving their way through the semester. THANK YOU PROFESSOR KARIN COLQUITT! SERIOUSLY! :)

Accounting is very important in the life of everyone who want to have control over their finance. It is a systematic process of identifying, recording, measuring, classifying, verifying, summarizing, interpreting and communicating financial information. It reveals profit or loss for a given period, and the value and nature of a firm's assets, liabilities and owners' equity.

Her delivery was outstanding! I took accounting my last year in college and the instructor sat at her desk most of the time, taught with powerpoints and made us read the book by ourselves. The info really didn't stick because the instructor wasn't enthusiastic or actively engaged. Thanks for posting 😍 I know I will run successful businesses in the near future. I have faith that all those whom are watching will be successful in their endeavors. 👌🏾

I just heard about a significant update that could hit the FAR exam as early as Jan 1, 2018. For example, in order to recognize revenue on contracts with customers "we no longer use look to determine whether revenue has been earned or realizable. Instead CPA hopefuls will need to use a 5-step process: (1) identify the contract with customer; (2) identify separate performance obligations; (3) determine the total consideration for the contracts; (4) allocate transaction price to the separate performance obligations ; (5) recognize revenue when the entity satisfies a performance obligations.

perfect explanation professor. In accounting. it explains how accounting. assists. in the effectiveness use of scarce Resource Accounting provides reliable relevant timely information to Managers investors. creditors and more investors . Mamfor people to understand more what you are trying to explains to us about that topic. Revenue will always bring profit to the company or organisations. The second levels of Bridge between levels 1and the 10 elements is the major components of reports. They are Assets, liabilities Equity means the dividend, stake holders , Retain Earning investments by owners. distributions to owners comprehensive income Revenue expenses gain and loses. See the equvalitative characteristics they are many quantities relevance. This is my own explanation of the statement of cash flow is when the money comes in and how it flow or how you will spend it there are three components of cash flow statement they are operational activities , financial activities and investment activities. I know when those two account don't have the same total something wrong in your journal or your additions you will not gets the different figure or numbers for your net income.When the two account has the same figure or answers you can know that you do the right additions properly.Let me define my operational activities is a regular activities of the business like a companies selling item like goods so the money that the company receive are for sales. Revenue is consider as operational activities . It all depends how the nature or business Is Financial Activities is how it is related to the financial support. The business gets and the payment forget that support. professor that a sound teaching to recall on what i learned long time thanks so much mam
