If we pass the entry by debiting unbilled AR and crediting unbilled Revenue then the credit should go to P&l also to B/S (liabilities-GP) and assets (unbilled AR & unbilled rev) it won’t tally. To recognise revenue billing is not at all required.So we can directly recognise as Revenue.

When we are debiting to unbilled AR its our assets and crediting unbilled revenue thats our income crediting to P&L. For revenue recognize if we delivered services and haven't billed for same than unbilled revenue we have to take into books as per Accounting standard. Thanks
