Someone needs to actually review the Timelapse capability. Literally, not one reviewer really discussed it. It’s 50% of the slider function.
@WilliamNevius2 ай бұрын
my apologies. I touched on it showing the options available for Timelapse . Short answer is you can program a photo Timelapse if you purchase the cable for your camera to the slider to trigger a photo thru the app. I did show off a mini timelapse of me cleaning up my office tho. It can do it..

Awesome review! In your opinion, does the S40 have enough travel to create enough motion for B or C cams during a single person interview or teleprompter session? I'm torn between the S40 & S60. Leaning toward the S40 for it's size/packability.

Thanks a lot. And that’s a great question. To me the S40 is perfect for its compact size being able to fit in a backpack. I typically use this for detail sliding shots like wedding rings, shoes, decor or product broll where you don’t need much movement. For the camera to go from 1 side to the next on slowest setting it’s about 3 mins from what I believe and I just use loop. You can definitely get away with the s40 for interviews but the S60 would be a better option to give you a few more minutes of slide direction to use to cut too. But I think the a40 benefits more for its size. If you’re fine with multiple takes in an interview s40 is a no brainer. If you’re worried about the it looping when you want to cut switching directions the s60 would be a better choice. It’s a hard one… I say s40 lol hope this helps dude

S40 can do vertical?
@WilliamNeviusАй бұрын
There are no vertical mounts to mount vertical but you can angle the slider vertical on a tripod and it will work as long as the setup isn’t too heavy past the weight limit so yes 😉

‘Dope review’?! Man, R U high? This is the most shallow review I saw. It’s like the ending of the Last Boyscout- water is wet the sun is bright.. this review does NOT give U the sweetest truth which is a checkmate to other sliders 1) it is QUIET. No motor noise at all. U can pick a breath of your interlocutor at interview and no slider buzz can spoil it or any other sound scene; 2) the parallax move w/o use of additional heads/equipment. just these two already enough to value the slider above others. And the reviewer did not spasm a tac to test it and to mention these features. Most bloggers like to throw some light on themselves to shine in it but do not care much about the core - the object of their review not even an investigation. If U want a real thing Gerald Undone Make Art Now Peter McKinnon and many other jewels can help. Alas I have not found any much help here. Sorry. The good thing is a plenty of room for self development because of critical replies as mine. So no hard feelings please.

You really need to work on your wording if you want this to be seen as constructive critique. Honestly, he did a great job. So, let's criticize you. To your first point: it didn't sound like he has ever owned an electrical slider before. How should he know that this model is quieter than other models? Also, if someone wanted to know how loud it is, they can ask him in the comment section. That's what it's for. To your second point: he did mention why using the slider without any head is not useful. So, don't act like he didn't put any work into his video. If you like big KZbinrs more, just go there, watch their videos and fanboy all over them. No need to be this negative towards a small KZbinr.
