ISO 5725 uses two terms "trueness" and "precision" to describe the accuracy of a measurement method. "Trueness" refers to the closeness of agreement between the arithmetic mean of a large number of test results and the true or accepted reference value. "Precision" refers to the closeness of agreement between test results.

Accuracy Means Apart from Mistakes the Things Which are Being Correct. Example ( No of Right Answers that You Have Given in Quiz , The Final Success That Yu get After Facing Many Failures ) Precision Means The Things that Shows Exact Information. Vernier caliper Least count = 0.02mm? plz explain
@MagnetBrainsEducation Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment! We are glad that you are interested in learning more about the Vernier caliper. The least count of a Vernier caliper is the smallest measurable unit of measurement. In the case of a Vernier caliper with 0.02 mm least count, it can measure up to 0.02 mm. We hope this helps. Keep watching our educational school related videos for more interesting topics.
