Mine returns to 0 between calibers within couple of clicks. 260 Rem is lower than 308 around 0.5 milrads and 0.3 to the left. Very handy.

Did yours come with the hex key to change out the barrel? Also, did yours come with the screws for all the spacers you put on the butt pad? Mine came with screws, but not ones long enough to put that many pads on there. I'm beginning to think mine was returned to the dealer, and some things were left out.
@RealShooter9 жыл бұрын
+jaybigboy34 Mine didnt come with either the wrench or long screws. I went to a hardware store and bought the screws. I have seen others online mention the same thing. Its a little weird to buy a $4000 rifle and it not come with two screws needed to use the spacers but it is what it is I guess. I forget the size of the screws. I just took the ones out of the rifle to a real hardware store (big box doesnt have them) found the thread pitch in a gauge and bought a handful of all sizes.

Great video man. Now that it's been over a year since you posted how are you liking the rifle? This may sound counterintuitive, but I really think the AIAT will be a money saver in the LONG run without having to have multiple rifles and/or a gunsmith to switch calibers. So what do you think now? Thanks in advance.

AWESOME VIDEO ! Keep them coming . What caliper do You like better ? 6.5 or the 308 ?
@RealShooter9 жыл бұрын
+michael kertis jr I like the 6.5 better but still really like the .308. The barrel life on a .308 makes it nice for practice or just banging away at steel.

The Only real con to the G2 is weight/price. I have the 3-18 and have compared it to S&B 3-20. To my eyes I can't see a difference. Leupold MK 6 is close but the G2 beats it, older MK4 isn't even in the same ball park. Mine tracks perfect, I check it every 3-400 rounds. Best bang for your buck on high end scopes. Look up snipers hide, Frank has great videos on scopes/rifles.

Quick question for you. I have had my AT for a few months now and I wanted to know what your trigger over travel is like? I never noticed how much mine had until I was doing some dry fire drills. I cant complain for a second on accuracy just wanted to bounce it off another owner.
@RealShooter9 жыл бұрын
+Jordan Mutchler Mine has a lot of over travel. Its so much that I just assumed it was part of the design. I actually started to use it for helping with follow through on the trigger press. I press till the trigger breaks and keep right on going through the over travel. It helps me with good follow through. Took some getting used to though.
@vstrom909 жыл бұрын
+Real Shooter I was hoping you would say that. Have fun with it it I know I love mine.

are you liking this gun a lot better than your RPR?
@RealShooter9 жыл бұрын
+jaybigboy34 They are different animals. The AT is built better but is heavier. It also costs four times as much. I like both of them for what they are.
@jaybigboy349 жыл бұрын
I'm sure the fit and finish is allot better out of the AI over the RPR, but how does the rpr compare accuracy wise? is the AI better or are they about the same? Thanks! Love your videos!
@RealShooter9 жыл бұрын
The RPR will open up some when it gets hot after say fifteen or twenty rounds fired fairly rapidly. I chalk this up to the the factory barrel. Put a custom barrel in an RPR and I would say there would be no difference in accuracy. When I shoot out the Ruger barrel I'll be going with a custom so in the future I'll be able to test it.
@alexandrerojkov94298 жыл бұрын
It has the accuracy that is hard to beat from your end for sure.
