Accurascale 66 gone already! sexy new wagon alert! Liberty Junction 40

Aup folks I was sick of waiting for Accurascale to get the sound decoders n stock and an offer came along that I couldn’t refuse! So used the EWS as part payment for some new lovely wagons and how lovely they are!!!

Thanks to the commenters and folk that share these on, they’re intended as light hearted entertainment, some are absolute crackers some a bit more serious. I love the model railways, I love filming them going about their business and I love chatting about them. No one in my house is interested in listening to me chat about them, hence I chat to you guys. Feel free to ask any questions.
The intention of this channel is to come at a different angle from the usual and do my own thing which may or may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
It gets me some peace up here in the loft though so I’ll keep it going. I only have a small fleet as they’re all the new sound fitted models and it’s a new hobby so don’t expect a different loco in each video. Hope you like this one, cheers! Dave

Unexpected fabulousness. How you got that purchase past the Domestic Authorities we may never know, but will be eternally impressed. The thing is that rake over hoppers suite the class 66 perfectly. It just looks right. Fair enough it does have that dodgy function 40, but you can always avoid using it. Upshot is, I don’t think you should sell it now. Have a great Summer.

Hi Dave. Do like the 66s. Just bought an Accurascale 37. My layout isn't the best so has a bit of trouble. My take it down my local model shop and do a swap. Superb running with the 66 and hoppers. Thanks Dave as always. Thumbs up thumped 👍 ....Pete....

That is just it if you think it don't suit your layout then it goes. I have the 66 but it probably won't get run much got it for the charity it was supporting. Interesting you are going back in time. I started back in time with no plans to go to the future but the 66 arrived. Oh well they are our layouts etc....... Totally with you on the YT drain, it hits us all eventually hence I too have not pushed out much of late.

The majority of my fleet are 37s and I don’t have a clue how the 66s will look on my layout. Was absolutely chuffed to see the notification ping…

Nice rake! I was over at Locomotion Shildon other week, New Hall is open and they have the prototype HAA there all spangly and nice and one which is the last ever wagon to leave Shildon works, that’s a lot less spangly but not full on grotty. So great Family Day out Top Tip there, go and see some wagons during holidays… and they have Flying Scotsman doing rides too 😉

I think having of your brain is telling you your older than you think. Hence you know the more modern locos are not really your thing. Only joking!!!! I'm BR blue, modern for me is large Logo. This week put a pile of locos and other stuff to sell. You can't keep getting new gear. Just got 2 more Bachmann 37's sound fitted. Another youtuber saying how dearer Bachmann locos are compared to your best mates company. I payed less than £22 for 1 and less than £22.50 for the other ( that's wife cost calculation cost conversion for you) Both run and sound brilliant (once I reset volume.) No running in needed. - Bachmann great quality and value if you look out for the deals. ( they do have a crazy cost variation on similar locos.) Cheers.

Yeah I fully agree with the Bachmann stuff it just works absolutely perfectly straight away - if you wait a bit from release they’re not bad money and some even are full on bargains! I’m glad you mentioned the wpg as I was almost having panic attacks missing those bargains 👍👍
