I've had missing magnets from the body and / or roof opening. I noticed this on Jenny Kirk's video, but Jenny never noticed it as if she did she would have mentioned it. I'm sure.

That square speaker is a passive radiator that uses back pressure of the main speaker to reinforce the bass.

I've had serious running faults on my 37027 and sent it back to Rails of Sheffield. Main problem was that it would barely move even under full throttle. It of course ran perfectly on Rails test track, so they sent it back. However, once again after a short period of reliable running, it developed a severe case of stoppy startyitis, which was persistent. Did some research and saw Graham Foulston's youtube video, so changed CV54 and several other CV values. It seems to be running reliably and consistently now. Some of the fine detail has fallen off, and the snow ploughs were a nightmare. I had to use a pin vice to make the centre holes slightly bigger to get the centre piece to fit and the side ones kept coming out and causing derailments. Even with superglue, they won't stay fixed in position. Given up on them for now. It is not unreasonable to expect such an expensive model to work properly straight out of the box. I'm keeping the model for now as the sound file - apart from the horns and guard's whistle and vibration - is really impressive. Nevertheless, I won't be buying any more locos from Accurascale.

No. I did see on one of the many FB groups someone had that issue,seems strange as the chips should be programed with the same values, But at least there aware of the short comings I have three more locos on order with them so I hope they`ll better as, I will return for a refund life goes on even without a new loco, some seem to forget that and except tat, like Hornby do

Many others out there too, quality control seems to take second place now in the rush to get these out asap, Never had any issues with the Bachmann models..

If you want something to display in a cabinet - go for Accurascale. If you want something reliable to run on a layout - go for Bachmann. I've a 37 and a 55 Deltic and each has at least 7 faults.

Pack the speaker with a bit of cardboard it stopped the vibe..... take the top off and fit crew and sort the window at the same time, its easy. its called being a Modeller.

I get where your coming from, but modellings when I make something, Not doing running repairs on a brand new £270 Loco, fortunately Accurascale do make enough surplus to cover such errors unlike another well know manufacture

The Accurascale deltic is worse on Sams trains there's a big gap at bottom of window scondmans side but Sam missed it!

Yeah TMC are swapping it, so at least it`s not a Hornby where they sell all the product and have no replacements or spares, Blue wagon is an Auto rack it`s a US tri level car transporter not an easy find in the UK.

@@newlynnrailway I do love Accurascale. Probably been under a lot of pressure to get the orders done fast enough. One of my buffers fell out on mine, but it’s an ray fix and not worth the agg of sending it back. All ok for the rest though. I have two Deltic s and a 37 from Accurascale and all are brilliant. Being an ex Driver on BR the sounds are spot on .When you compare them with Bachmann they are very good value for money as they have better detail and the sounds are spot on plus they are even cheaper than Bachmann

£270 Yeah it`s not just mine i`ve seen with the window issue, so clearly someone in the factory lines not doing there little bit, Accurascale are pretty good at return and the shop I bought it from doing an exchange but, but if we don`t send them back the issues don`t get redressed.

Accurascale is better when it works, dont knock it off just yet its still a newish company. They have quality and will replace any with issues on em

Hi, its a shame Accurascale items are not as they should be, the quality control department must be on holiday, how can issues like this get through, i know they had issues getting hold of digital chips for production, the locos's are delicate and thats a fact, poor workmanship doesn't help, there seems to be such a rush to get a product that is so late out as quick as they can without checking them, it's a gamble wether you get a great loco or a headache, i'm a big fan of Accurascale products, i've met the main men in charge who are very genuine people who care about the customers, i can speak for their workforce who get paid good money to do the work, they are very experienced worker in this field so i guess some of them just don't care, pride in what you do goes out the window when you don't care about what your doing, the customer will suffer and so will Accurascale.

All easy fixes, by the time you send it back with no guarantee the replacement will be any better what have you achieved? Ive had 2 arrive from tmc last week, one cab the glazing had fallen in, similar from Rails. Two minutes to fix..... The Deltic on the other hand a different story , hopefully sorted in version 2

Yes But I don`t pay that sort of money to fix something that should be right in the first place, clearly the window is an issue from the prodution line. Yes I had a Engine room window fall inside the deltic I sent that back as I was a lucky one that didn`t have the chains drop off.

@@newlynnrailway my point really is that if tmc replace it assuming they have some sound models left even though they are sold out, there is a 50 50 liklihood that one or other cab glazing is loose with the postal delivery jolts and you achieve not a lot 😒 of the 6 I bought in batch two 3 had glazing fallen out. The other issue is a volume issue as others have advised

@@newlynnrailway we should all change our name to Graham. Loads of people have had problems with Accurascale locos. I have 3 Deltics with bits fallen off, broken brake chains & speakers buzzing. I've never seen anything as a sweetener. Same as you mate with your problems. It's a joke but it's not funny when we pay a fortune for models. But us both only having small YT channels, not the thousands of subs or views, we get forgotten about the problems we have. Really does annoy me the double standards that's been shown.
