That’s really impressive; we’re almost spoilt today with the awesome models that passionate folks like Kyle and Tim bring to life. Thanks for bringing these to our attention, certainly worth our support. I’m an Aussie, so I don’t have a personal connection, but I could see some of those cars at my place very easily! Although these cars look almost small enough that they’re similar the early interurban electrics that are my US focus, like the Oregon Electric cars converted to tourist use at the Black Hills Central. When Tim and Kyle did spend so much time on a detail like the toilet that isn't even visible after assembly it tells their dedication to the quality of these models. Their story is very similar to Lawrence from NZ Finescale who does models of the New Zealand railways. He also started out making models in resin 3D print and also photo etch and brass castings because he wanted the right models for his layout. I ordered models because I'm started modelling the same theme of the Rewanui Incline on the South Island West Coast and so the models suit perfectly. The quality and simplicity of assembly of these resin prints is as amazing as are the Paradise car kits. These Strasburg cars look the part and I wondered if some of the prototype cars were built by the Gilbert Bush company because the stylistic features resemble some of the NZ cars built by the same company.

YAY you finally made it to Strasburg Railroad Home to the Oldest Live Steam in all of the United States. The Hello Dolly yellow end car was a sight to see which Strasburg also had one of those open Passenger cars painted just like the Hello Dolly car which ran next to Hello Dolly. Early Passenger cars were all painted Green then in the late 60's early 70's they were painted Red. I used to go to Strasburg Railroad every year over 43yrs. I stopped going when Friend passed away in 2008 which was part of Strasburg RXR family for a few years and the owner operator of Jim Thorpe Railroad as well as Doylestown Railroad. RIP the Man the Myth the Legend: George M. Hart. In 1969, he was appointed as the Director of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, the first state-operated railroad museum in the United States and served as President and General Manager of the Stewartstown Railroad, a 7-mile short line in York County, Pa. which hauled freight and passengers. Most of the Main Engines at the Pennsylvania Museum were brought up from down south by George himself, which noted pulled the longest Steam Engine Power Move that I know of in the United States, total of 9 or more Steam Engines if I remember right to the site of the Pennsylvania Museum. I've been to Strasburg Railroad one time since he's passed away in 2021 when N&W #611 J class was pulling. Great Railroad in every shape and form, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating for Strasburg Railroad 👍🏻👍🏻

Very nice. I wish someone/company would do a model of the PRR 22 Roomette "Inn" series Budd stainless slab-sided sleepers. There were nearly 100 built. They did not last long as sleepers, but many still run today in excursion service, and some may still run in commuter service. They became the backbone of the PRR/PC "Congressional" coach stock, later ran for NJ Transit; MARC; Cuyahoga Valley Scenic; Reading, Blue Mountain and Northern; Ringling Bros. circus train, and I'm sure some I don't know about. I need 14 of them to represent the 1968 Robert F. Kennedy funeral train, out of 21 cars in the train. 18:30 An adjunct to the subject of model passenger-car toilets: About a decade ago I had a set of MTH O gauge Superliners disassembled as part of an effort to convert them to LED lighting for operation in an O Gauge Amtrak Auto-Train. That's a _long boy_ if you didn't know -- my effort was 21 cars, 36' long, and weighed 47 pounds _without_ the locomotives last time I ran it for a video, and I've added _more_ cars since then. With the power draw of these coaches approaching a half an amp _per car_ using the stock incandescent bulbs, something had to be done to make this train run-able. Upon opening the cars I noticed something odd about the bathrooms on the lower level. I could see the sink and vanity...but where was the toilet? There was just this oval depression in the floor where a toilet...should...be... ...And then it hit me -- the engineers in China designed these with _squat toilets_ . No doubt given how common they are in Asia, the engineers simply went with what they were familiar with in the absence of instructions to the contrary . This "detail" remains forever hidden within these cars...unless you take the shell off and look for the restroom 🚽🤪
