I take my time just to write down the entire conversation with Drake to improve my listening 🎧 skill, it's was very helpful,and it gave me a peace of mind when realize that just a couple months ago I cannot understand anything but now, not only i can hear but also I can write and build phrases on my own. Go getter, state of mind, put his mind to it. When Drake came to Santa Monica, he had his state of mind be an actor. One time he had an audition opportunity, he put his mind to it. He told himself there is no quick fix of getting rid of his New York accent, He told himself I will show you I will be your go getter. In the end of audition, the producer played mind games, bluffed to Drake, he did not get the part. This is not the first time Drake was told so, he decided to sweep it under the rug, let it out of sight, out of mind,,,,, try again ,,,,, actually it was a bluffing by the producer, in the end. Drake was selected as a successful candidate.

Magnificent lesson Lisa. So many useful expressions, it's difficult to pick up only one to try to memorize. I wish I had time enough to do the homework that you assigned to us, but I will have to choose only one idiom as I'm watching this lesson on a bus on my way to work (don't laugh at me, please!)
