When you sell your stuff at a garage sale, most normal people list the items at bargain basement prices as sellers just want to get rid of old junk as quickly as possible and make a couple of bucks. This guy and his wife were both jerks. The wife didn't say one word when she knew they had just paid her for the stuff. To top it off, the buyer offered to give him his items back and just cancel the sale. He refused and continued to berate the buyers. I hate people like that!

Yeah but you could say that about all things sold at a yard sale. That’s the whole point… the things that are no longer useful to you are sold at bargain price or “steal of a deal”. That man was just trying to cover his mistake and for his wife to sit there and let that go down is shameful. Plus, it’s the responsibility of the seller to make sure tags and prices are correct, not the people shopping. Wife could have told her it was incorrect when she paid for it. If the guy had gone about it a little nicer I would have thought it was a miscommunication but not after his flippant attitude.

Loved seeing you stand up for yourself! I was at a garage sale and carried around a small lamp for awhile trying to decide if I was gonna buy it. I decided not to and put it down and started to leave. As I was walking away the lady running the sale tried to accuse me of stealing it! I spun around and said I'm not a theif! Then kept walking. He always told me that dynamite comes in small pkgs, he also told me that it was time for me to start defending myself. I did all through H.S., then when I got married he turned out to mentally abusive. I felt be-littled all over again. We divorced, thank goodness. Then I met the best guy in the world, he helped me find my voice again. I'm sure of him not being aware of the signs. Some people can't help it. My Dad was sweet. And towards the end wasn't a bed of roses. I miss him so much! People are struggling with Mental health, illnesses, and other things. My Momma now has it. And she is in a wheel chair. My Dad got Suicidal towards the end and aggressive towards others. Personally I would have handled it more calmly especially since elderly people sometimes have mental issues that they cannot control and it's just not nice yelling at the elderly, No matter how wrong they may seem. While holding pressure on the latch, start at 000, then 001, 002, etc and as soon as you hit the combo the latch will pop open. You just have to keep pressure on the latch so it pops when you hit the right set of numbers, should take you about 3-5 minutes. Or Google it theres multiple examples of what I’m explaining on line.
