Accusize tooling is usually pretty good value. Been buying Accusize for 4 years now. Have run into quality issues only twice. Their customer service made it right every time.

You should’ve done a few passes. Even the cheapest crap will do one short cut like that. I might try some Accusize products myself

I do plan on doing a followup video after a fair amount of use on the tool. Thank you for your input.

Hi. I'm having trouble finding any step by step instructions or video showing how to Use Cura for doing a filament color change on my Sidewinder X1V4. 2 different ones I've seen I've followed exactly but the printer never stops to change the filament? You have helped me out a lot. So I'm asking you if you know where I can find a WORKING solution? I'm using the newest cura as of 7/29/22.

I have not been able to get a color change to work in cura I mostly use idea maker and it has really simple tools for pausing the print at a specific point. But ive not tried a color change with that ether.

Sorry for the basic question. What is the benefit of indexable end mills vs regular? Just that they are cheaper to replace the edges? It seems like the geometry would limit evacuation as well as regular, but perhaps I'm wrong.

It depends on the situation, I like this option because you can get different inserts that are suited to specific materials and Its a more inexpensive way to have carbide tooling. Break an insert and its just a few bucks, break an end and that can be near 100 bucks...

The total height of the insert, about 14mm or just shy of 9/ 16 of an inch.
