Thanks for this fun video! I like the use of a wooden push block when you cut off the threads on that bolt you used for the fishing reel. You got the gears turning in my head in making fun characters, very cool!

Nice video. I am interested in teaching myself hobby welding. I want to attempt to make small metal "stuff" not art so much, just stuff like making airplanes from sparkplugs, those little metal statues made from old hand tools, wrench J hooks, things like that. I purchased a new Hobart 210 MVP welder which i need to learn how to use. Would you know of some videos or web sites for people showing how to make hobby welding items like i mentioned? Thanks a bunch.

Awesome, hobby welding is so much fun and you can sell it on Etsy, ill drop a link to my playlist on how to weld if you want to check it out. There are like 40 some how to mig, tig weld videos, even a how to make a steel rose video on there. Thanks for watching!!! kzbin.info/aero/PLly0wFZ3b0EUfw-y66mVLdVwVd8CsHqgZ&si=QEj2eG__MozHhMmK

Sir, please always use your welding gloves / gardening gloves… I’d probably dremel out a 2x4” to hold the spike, outside one leg, one arm and the rod…carving out to flush against the base when the mold / jig is centered. Tack, tack, tack and remove. All your angles are set .
@LwimmermastermetalartКүн бұрын
I can’t believe how many welds you made without wearing gloves.. 🙄 Safety first ! I do a lot of metal art pieces and it can get difficult holding things with gloves on but I found these deerskin TIG gloves. I LOVE them.
@ACDesignsGarage16 сағат бұрын
Sometimes I get in a hurry and it's hard to hold small parts. I do use the tig gloves alot!!

Railroad spikes from eBay?? I just source mine from the train tracks near my house. It's been kind of noisy out lately though, and the fire department keeps showing up for some reason
