She has taught me a lot about a lot of things :) Please keep making videos and working as a welder !!!

I listened to your story about how you got started plasma cutting and welding, you mentioned you had absolutely no support and no one believed in you, but you knew in your heart what your passion was, and had this talent in your soul. I’m amazed at your story and your talent. You have proven all those people wrong. Good for you. I have a similar story, with no support and became a car painter, but because it was mainly a mans world and women weren’t in this line of work no one believed in me, but I proved them all wrong and followed my heart and passion. I am now retired and am interested in plasma art and welding. I watch your videos and give me inspiration. I’m 58 years young and love learning new things. Thank you for sharing your story, and very beautiful artistic talent. Love your passion. Always be true to yourself, and believe in you, never ever listen to what people say you can’t do. Re Silc, It totally depends on what welder you have, what size wire you are running, what type of gas you are using and a few other things. I always suggest using some similar size scapes to tune your welder if you are a beginner and just trying to figure it all out. Hope that helps.

What kind of mig wire are you using and, what are your welder brand/settings?
@BarbieTheWelder Жыл бұрын
My settings won’t help you because every welder weld at a different speed and your settings will be different depending on what’s right for you. Inside your machine is a chart that gives you beginning parameters to work with for the material thickness, the material type and your wire size that you’re using use it to start with and then adjust from there. I personally run 030 wire in a 110 mig welder The thinner wire melts at a lower temperature and allows me to weld thicker and thinner steel.
@fungiilluminati Жыл бұрын
@@BarbieTheWelder I meant, by brand, do you use a Miller or Lincoln or what? And by settings I mean is your wire speed 220 and voltage 15 or what? Yr es, every welder has numbers like 5,6,7,8 and can vary between maker as to what they represent but most welding rigs show the digital resign in voltage and Amps.

MIG with 75/25 gas and .030 er70s-6 filler wire. Silverware I’m welding is stainless steel. You can switch over to stainless steel filler wire or clear coat the finished sculpture with a Rustolium clear coat made for metal. It will keep it from rusting.
