This is the episode that got me into Friendship is Magic. I was a huge fan of G1 MLP when I was a kid. When G3 came out I watched a couple episodes out of curiosity, and I hated it. When I heard there was going to be a fourth generation I didn't even want to look at it, because I figured it would just be more of the G3 garbage. This was the first episode of FiM that I ever saw. I loved how it took all the elements I loved about G1 (fantasy land, dangerous monsters, magic, adventure) and updated them with three-dimensional characters and new lore.

I gotta say, this is one of the most kickass reviews you've ever done. You relentlessly give this episode (which, I agree strongly with the negative points) what it deserves. I'd wish HubPie (a friend of mine, who doesn't like the way you handle the episodes you don't like) would appreciate the passion you gave on your arguments. Also, one more thing: have you seen the Loud House, the most recent successful Nickelodeon cartoon created by Chris Sarvino. Give it a try. I know you didn't like what Sarvino gave for MLP, but he's a nice guy in real...(I remember he was fired by sexual harrassment.)...oh...this is awkward. But, regardless, I recommend The Loud House, it may surprise you (Damn you, Sarvino).

Okay, the bloopers were hilarious, especially Keyframe's green bean of doom! It's made even better with the fact that I hate green beans! As for the episode, while it wasn't my favorite, as I definately see myself in Fluttershy's shoes in terms of babysitting (I am very uncomfortable around small children), I didn't it was too bad. I don't think too many kids would be all that frightened by Twilight, Elizabeak, and Fluttershy being turned to stone; some maybe, but not that many (though, maybe that's just me not putting as much thought into it). And the Discord scene really isn't a good defense for this scene, as this episode came out in the first season, while that episode didn't come out until the second.

Wouldn't staring deeper and directly into the cockatrice's eyes cause the Flutter's to be incased faster? I mean look at Elizabeak, does it depend on the size of the object? Explain please ;3; 4. Golden fox this episode definitely was something when I first watched it however the biting off more than you can chew lesson was done very well here unlike in Thomas the tank engine and friends in the episode Percy's chocolate crunch percy was trying to get a new coat and since the water tower was low on water he couldn't get clean so he tried to do jobs that wouldn't get him dirty but if anyone knows this episode and this show that's not the case. Percy's final resort to get a new coat was to deliver sugar to a chocolate factory and it didn't go well at all. He crashed into the chocolate factory 4 or 5 windows blew up with chocolate dust coming out of the factory and then Percy's comes out covered in chocolate and dear Lord I was scared and angry at the same time. Then sir topen hat FYI keep in mind I hate this show Thomas the tank engine and friends not my little pony. My little pony is awesome! Anyway sir topen hat tells Percy he never needed to prove anything and I thought then why the hell did you make him do it in the first place. Grr see this is why the only show that teaches reasonable and relatable friendship lessons is my little pony friendship is magic. Thomas the tank engine and friends is not a friendship show just a bunch of bullshit excuses for friendship! DX And nightmare fuel!
