The music is very integral to the Ace Attorney experience! Each track is stuck to a specific gameplay scenario, and the more you experience, you identify situations just by the music alone and the music tracks heighten certain dramatic or "Aha!" moments.

Your idea that the track selection is taking you through a trial is pretty much right, from what it seems. Of course, it's not just that when you go through the game. There were no Character Themes except for Turnabout Sisters. There are a TON of character specific themes

Logic and Trick's context is that it plays during trial when something is being explained. Usually the opening statements or the player needing to point something out on a piece of evidence they presented.

The OST is great and get even better when you play the game, the music play an extremely important part on what makes ace attorney great to play. Can't recommend The Great Ace Attorney OST enough too, it's really great too (ahah)

There's a greater feeling with how the ost was arranged to make the story of a trial here. Not that the other reaction videos are less good because of it, and they still have a semblance of a storyline too, but some ost placements have been off. I would make an explanation using the Undertale video, but it would be kinda long Here, the order makes it so much more packing, imo especially for Cornered. I mean, who wouldn't like to be able to call out a person's bs really hard without any sort of fear of any kind of repercussion from the person? The build-up made by the other songs only amplifies that feeling. That's why, if there will be a Persona 5 ost reaction one day, there are 4 songs that should be listened to in a certain order, with others songs which can be put between them: Wake up, get up, get up there Life will change I believe Throw away your mask Though it's not me who decide which game will be reacted to here, so I'll just 🤞 , respectfully wait, and see.

@@fireradfieritis8953 I mean, it can be added like any other song in between, but for the progression I see, no. It's about the lyrics, the two first ones having "Life will change" in the lyrics, one to tell what would be needed to be done so that it happens, and the other one is stating it as a matter of fact because the Phantom Thieves are making life change. I believe is is the direct sequel to Life will change with the callback to it with the "I thought that, I told you I'm not a robot no. I thought I, told you I'm not a phantom I'm in your face" [Spoilers for those who haven't played yet but still would want to play Royal] And it is the PTs' claim to Maruki and Throw away your mask is his response. Rivers in the desert is nice, but it's defo a bit out of subject because its lyrics don't match with these 4 like that.

I really wished the playlist had included the Blue Badger theme. It's so spooky for no actual reason and it adds so much scary character to the Blue Badger. I know it wouldn't actually be in there 'cause it's not really relevant to the game progression but it would've been really fun to see the reaction.

You should definitely listen to the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles soundtrack! It takes place in the Victorian era (around 1890) and it has quite a different feel compared to the first game! It would be fun to compare the first and most recent game of the franchise

I haven't watched this yet, so I don't know, but I would like to make mention of I believe it's sometimes called War Song Must Inspect, sometimes a different name I can't recall, theme of Viktor Kudo, seems to, by the comments on one of the uploads of it, be based off of Ode To Showa Restoration, which was an early 20th century Japanese revolutionary song.

The music for this was likely done on a Roland Super JV JV-1080 or Roland SC-88 Pro synthesizer. The first game was actually made for the Gameboy Advance, and a huge number of GBA games were composed on an SC-88 Pro, and the rest of the AA games on DS were done on the JV-1080. The sound banks for both are fairly similar in their default configuration, but the JV-1080 has WAY more expandability and is pretty beastly. There's a few channels on youtube that have remastered old GBA game songs on Roland SC-88 units for near-lossless quality, like Vincent Dortel and Cyanne.

Thank you so much for listening to this! There are actually way more newer games, like the latest one was uploaded in 2021! The music gets better every game, you should listen to every ost on youtube like a.. Live stream or something like that! Perhaps even play all the games on a stream? Like you can emulate some of the games! Oh i'd love that i'm continously looking for new playthroughs! The whole OST together of all games gives out a large story. There's even some unlocalized games sneaking around like Gyakuten Kenji 2 (Which i have played and it's most likely the best game of all time) Has an INCREDIBLE ost! I KEEP EDITING THIS SM I KNOWW but like the ace attorney ost, every track is unique and you'll like every single one!

Well if you're taking suggestions for amazing OSTs, then I have one I cannot recommend enough. OMORI. The majority are meant as loops and are relatively short, but each have their own energy and purpose. I have a number of suggestions (not that I'd expect you to do all in one take, but content or not, I still recommend listening) and even an order if so. The OST consists of nothing but fantastic music, even those just made to fill a story purpose, and I love the game itself. Note that it is a very emotional psychological horror game- even if those elements are quite isolated in its story. It'll make you cry though- sorrow and joy. Title- to set the mood 100 Sunny- for cute. Represents the game's start well Acrophobia- for contrast. Represents the game's inner horror well THE VENGEANCE OF THOSE FORGOTTEN IN DARKNESS- for powerful energy CHAOS ASSEMBLY- just for a little 'out-there' You Were Wrong. Go Back.- for some boss-theme warm-up Just Leave Me Alone- to set the game's true emotional intensity (highly recommend) It Means Everything.- to set the game's true heaviness (also highly recommend) Sweet Paralysis- to remind you OMORI isn't afraid to throw some freaky at you World's End Valentine- The partner to that boss fight warm-up I mentioned GOLDENVENGEANCE- great, hype, smooth, but optional, I'll admit. Maybe just a snippet? BREADY STEADY GO- likewise. great as a listen, but not all story relevant Underwater Prom Queens- Ditto Tee-hee Time- Ditto again My Time- a stand out for Omori fans. Practically a must-listen Whale Whale Whale- unimpressive at a glance, but sets an unnerving turn for Omori Friends.- to let you know there's no denying that something's very wrong A Home For Flowers (Daisy)- a brief, soft interlude before the climax OMORI- the emotional climax- OMORI - ALTER- literal continuation of the previous DUET- conclusion. Also a must-listen. It's beautiful.
